    Indeed...

Wonder is there is interest in Mitchell as a trade piece. He might be at Max value right now.
  3. yourout
I will be happy if we get to September without them catching us
  4. yourout
I think it is .. Don't walk him. He's not going to hurt you.
  5. yourout
Don't seem like we are as aggressive starting runners as we should be.

I'd rather see Vaughn face a right-hander than Yelich face anyone not in a nursing home.

Unless he makes the adjustments that are necessary due to his declining bat speed and hand-eye coordination he will be almost unplayable as a DH. The only reason his swing path worked back in the day was because he had exceptional hand-eye coordination at that stage in his career and that's gone now. He has one of the worst swing mechanics on the team right now and at this stage of his career he has no chance without reworking it.

If it cost them wins then the answer is yes he should be paid to watch

Well I will say this much. If you're going to suck on a West Coast trip at least do it fast so we're not up till all hours of the night

One for 14 from the top four in the lineup.

Getting shut out twice in 7 days is not a good sign.
  12. yourout
Right now Vaughn needs to be in the lineup. He's been one of the few guys consistently doing something almost every night and most of it has been against right handers lately.

Looking like the second shutout in a week. Definitely is a conundrum that we need a bat but where you put him in the lineup.
  14. yourout
Vaughn missed an absolute pipe shot. Hes popped up a lot of those this year that he tattooed last year.
  15. yourout
Very true. He's been pretty bad for the last 2 weeks. 8 for 54
  16. yourout
Certainly didn't look like he was full speed all the way to the base
  17. yourout
    There was our chance.
  18. yourout
    Thank you for pulling him.
  19. yourout
Hitting .197 over the last 30 games
  20. yourout
Not to mention Mitchell right now is in a pretty bad funk... two for 21. Yeah it's a right hander but a second day off in a row wouldn't have killed him.

Amen brother.. Tomorrow is actually pretty important game in some ways. Really don't want losing streaks to get legs.

Doug eddings needs an eye exam
  23. yourout
Better hope we can make noise against their pen in the eighth and 9th because we're not doing anything against this guy.
  24. yourout
The problem is we have a whole lot of guys that are decent but none of them are exactly headed for Cooperstown right now.
  25. yourout
    Yeah but they look good.
