I'm a bit worried he's just not getting enough playing time right now and probably is going to have to head back down to make sure he keeps developing. Just not enough innings available right now for him

Wilson's lobbing up some pretty fat ones.

They can certainly hit the big fly.

    Like a weatherman predicting rain.

Anyone know what the average game length has been so far this year? Curious if the challenge system has changed strike zone consistently(shrank) and made the games longer. I am guessing overall walk rate would show that as well.

Mcc likes to work the middle.

Tigers had bases loaded and one out against the Cubs and didn't score.

Mets are way better at challenges than we are.

Since the break Bauers is 0 for 13 with 9 Ks

I am shocked he gets walked as much as he does.

    Thats a tough one.

Really interesting how our third base situation has evolved since spring training.
  13. yourout
Cubs have closed it to 4 to 3.
  14. yourout
Yep. It should really come down to whether Hook thinks he can do anything with him.
  15. yourout
    That will do.

Story from 1982 when my then girlfriend(now wife) decided to take our 18 year old selves from little hick town Wisconsin to Chicago and stay near Ohare and take the subway(El train) down town to go the Sears Tower and museums. The trip started with the cops banging on our hotel room door at 2am looking for a robbery suspect. Then we got on the subway at Ohare and the stops got progressively worse till we got off downtown and had to walk around the drunks sleeping on the stairs. Was walking past an alley near the Sears building in bright daylight and a cop saw us looking down the alley and told us not to go there. Needless to say it was an eye opening experience traveling there as a youngun from lilly white wisconsin.

    William having a walkoff hangover.

If you take the subway it will be more than your career dieing.

Some of that is his swing mechanics. That exaggerated vertical load leads to a ton of rollovers when you pull

This could get interesting in a hurry.

If I was a manager today's catchers would piss me off to no end with the reaching and trying to pick balls instead of blocking

Hank IS the home run king.
  25. yourout
If he could eat a few innings and take some of the load it might help get the youguns to the finish line without burning them out.
