    Brewers are 3-4 in one run games so far. Last year they were 7-2 at roughly the same time. They are playing fewer games close this year and not winning many of them

    All that horizontal movement is getting Ortiz in trouble I think. That big pivot of the hips in towards a plate and the head's moving and the bats trying to get reset. Too many moving parts for a guy who's an iffy contact bat anyway

    I don't know if he did anything in the fall but he really needs to spend an off-season reworking his hitting mechanics with a top shelf instructor.
