This is going to be a short one for good ole Miley

We have three players that are done this year. 3 can you really sustain that on a roster. Thats more that 20% of your hitters as utterly useless.
  3. willie key
We really should pitch an opener. We give up first inning runs all the time
  4. willie key
    Rowdy better do something

It’s crazy how that team hasn’t been in the playoff conversation at all. Anamoly. I bet they are good next year

Cubs fans have given up the division. All they talk about is wild card now i still think it’s a good chance that the last series means something. But I’m hoping not. We need to whip up on this bad teams now

Good outing from houser and I’m enjoying these stress free saves from Williams. It’s better than when he brings out his inner Mitch Williams sometimes
  8. willie key
Great series. I would have been happy to split this when the week started. Add to it the cubs lost a series to the Rockies and it’s magnificent

Is black a left handed hitter? If so give him a shot
  10. willie key
I forgot about Adames. Turang might be at short.
  11. willie key
    He’s earned a chance
  12. willie key
If he could we wouldn’t worry about second base next year. For some reason I have a feeling the brewers are going to try monasterio there next year and bring in a third baseman
  13. willie key
That dude has been an underrated player this year.
  14. willie key
    Same with a hit!
  15. willie key
A minus bat is too politically correct. It is absurd that he is hitting in the majors at this point
  16. willie key
I’ve seen enough games to know he can play defense. But outfield play is so weird. You can literally go games where all you can do is just make routine plays. Playing an outfielder for purely defensive purposes when he can’t actually hit is just different than a ss or catcher in my opinion
  17. willie key
Ok That sounds like a decent play then. But he needs to being this all the time to even consider playing his bat
  18. willie key
Nope it isn’t that hard. But I don’t want to get into too much. Lets just leave it at that Can you tell me the last time when though? I’m not being argumentative. Just asking. Of course I’ve seen him make great plays. That was a while ago

For people who have seen more of the games than me. When was the last time he made a decent play on defense. Taken a hit away etc. if all he is doing is catching routine fly balls etc then this doesn’t even fly either. For this to even be an argument he needs to at least be taking away a legit hit every game and probably more to play his bat. I bet $10 that’s not happening Find someone else

I know one thing. I could at least bunt. I’m not too proud
  21. willie key
Then why is he getting paid to play baseball. Everyone of us could do that for crying out loud. This is silly.
  22. willie key
This is an absolutely insane to play this guy. There is no way in hell there isn’t someone else who can play. Heck a single A guy would be better
  23. willie key
    So another shutout then
  24. willie key
I have no problem giving the other pitchers credit. They get paid too. But we have in inordinate number of shutouts lately. And I’m counting that yankee game too. That was ridiculous At some point enough is enough we regally need to make minor changes to the roster. CC is hamstrung Anderson and wiemer need to go. Along with chafin. I can entertain rowdy staying as we all have schoop syndrome where we think a player might actually do something good But I don’t think it’s an outlandish knee jerk reaction that 2-3 players need to be replaced. And they don’t have to earth shaking moves. Give our manager a chance with some dudes
  25. willie key
I get excited when I hear burnes, woody, peralta starting in the playoffs with our defense. We have a great shot then I wake up and realize that we are going to get shut out at least once in the three game playoff series. So can we win the other two games?
