I think we have to get an infielder. We are doomed if someone gets hurt for 2-3 weeks. Let alone whoever we get will replace Ortiz in some fashion or form which will make the team better im fine with looking internally for bullpen. We can make that work. We got guys we have a bad left side of the infield.

I’m of the opinion to not even waste any of these insane prices for a bullpen arm. We can convert some of these excess starters to good bullpen guys. Myers could do a job this year.

Got until tomorrow to find a reliever and a hitter on the infield (not first). Figure it out. even though I would really think about making myers a reliever this year. He could be good in a role like dl hall or even mears

This turn around mid season seems unfathomable to me. I’ve seen seen teams do a turn around like this but they were usually expected to win at some point there is nothing saying the brewers should be the best team in baseball other than actually playing the games

I don’t really know how I feel about this catcher trade. Haase has been with the team and done his job for two years on good teams. Then you just cut him for a guy who really doesn’t seem like much of an upgrade. It seems kind of pointless Especially he’s got to learn the pitchers that Haase has already worked with for two years Maybe Haase was just so bad with the pitchers that they had to get rid of him? Murphy didn’t want to play him at all? I don’t know other than that it seems harsh. The only other thing is maybe Contreras isn’t going to make it and this guy would be better off being the full time starter. Who knows.
