  1. Wade Boggs is the only other hitter over .265
  2. Insane stat of the day batting average with two strikes Tony Gwynn. .302 all other mlb hitters. .183
  3. They better get one of these next two
  4. Keep his butt out there for 7 innings. Get some use out of him at least
  5. Peralta needs to step up and get a win today. As long as reds don’t sweep us that’s an ok weekend
  6. Learning experience for Murphy. Never close out a game with bad pitchers Unless it’s like a 7-8 run lead
  7. If I were the brewers I would want to win this game. And quit messing up scoring opportunities Enough of that nonsense
  8. The modern day athlete is just a trip id be interested in the % of games/minutes played to the total breakdown by different decades in all sports
  9. We could probably get this skubal guy for frelick straight up
  10. I would like us to show some fight offensively after the Phillies series against a good pitcher. Especially if we get him in trouble sit Contreras today please btw
  11. It’s nice to hold a one run lead and finish it off
  12. Cubs are reeling. They were flat out lucky to not get swept by the white Sox too. Cardinals aren’t exactly good either
  13. I’m in favor of trading any of our young outfielders sans chourio if we can get some good parts for this stretch run. Perkins is fine
  14. Just saw this quote on twitter “baseball fans will watch 162 games a year and be furious the whole time” and I thought to myself Yep
  15. And then he died. Starting pitchers have evolved into bees. But instead of dying after saving the hive with their sting, the arm just rips off and pulls out their internal organs if they actually pitch nine innings in a row
  16. Baseball has a lot of obscure random cherry picked stats. I would say the only thing that compares is when people try to defend their guy as the nba greatest of all time There is some serious mental gymnastics going on there
  17. Just following the gasser stuff now. I’m assuming he will be out for the year. Won’t talk to reporters about injury. Waiting for second opinion at Some point this is not sustainable for the brewers.
  18. It’s hard to tell what the market value of even a mid tier starting pitcher is anymore. That’s why I have no idea of what type of prospect you have to give.
  19. I’m could see this being like the Yankees series. Try to eke out one game and have our pitching staff get mauled in the other games i wonder who is available of our young players to trade for a real starting pitcher frelick? mitchell (always hurt probably has no value)? quero?
  20. Props to the brewers. They had to make some hay this month with an easier schedule. And have built up a nice lead. Because they sure as heck got a tough schedule after the all star break. it will be interesting what the GM is going to do as it looks like we are contenders. He’s going to have to find some decent starters
  21. This Phillies series is going to be tough. It would be nice if a starter went 6-7 for once and isn’t Williams coming back soon? Is he throwing?
