  1. That Durbin scrappy quote is going to bite us in the ass. Other teams are going to take it personally
  2. Well if we are going to lose all these games maybe let’s get those launch angle rankings up
  3. So how many defensive mistakes are we going to need from Miami to get back in the game. 3 to 4
  4. Even though it’s tongue in cheek there is a lot of truth when I say when yelich hits the brewers win. Just tell me what he does in the box score and I don’t need to see anything else
  5. I would like to get an infielder that can hit at short or third. If we don’t then turang Durbin or Ortiz gets hurt for awhile and we are stuck with monasterio. No. No. No trade for a hitter and Durbin can be a utility guy and be done with it and get a reliever or two. We are overusing guys and we got a lot of games left. We have too many long relievers unless we make myers into a one inning guy. Which I wouldn’t be against and for godsakes win today.
  6. Durbin saying you better ready to scrap for nine innings than getting your ass kicked in the next game is on brand
  7. Starting pitchers need to start going more than five innings or what’s the point of having good starting pitchers
  8. The lineup below would give them a great chance of doing something in postseason 1. frelick 2. chourio 3. yelich 4. trade for good hitter 5. Turang/collins 6. Collins/turang 7. Vaughn/1b 8. Contreras 9. Ortiz
  9. That’s what I’m guessing will happen the next couple of months if this happens does he even travel to AAA or does he just stay in Milwaukee until he gets called back up
  10. My take on Cortes is I don’t trust him. If you are going to throw him in over guys who are actually producing he better hit the ground running like woodruff. He seems like a pointless starter for us unless Quintana falls apart hes depth in my opinion. Not automatically given a spot in the rotation
  11. I’d rather he pitch innings in the big leagues than waste innings in the minors at this point If they are worried about innings than don’t waste them at Nashville
  12. It also seems like the brewers have done pretty well against good starters too. I wonder if the make contact, move runners offensive approach gets to some of these guys who are used to striking out a bunch of launch angle kings
  13. Priester has been a major find. We are really set in the rotation unless someone gets injured i would assume they are going to skip some starts by miz in these upcoming months and myers can take care of that
