    I still marvel at how Robin Yount only played 64 minor league games before becoming the Brewers starting SS at age 18 (back in 1974) - that is truly amazing!

    I hope Tellez returns & catches fire like Yelich & Adames have recently If upon his return it is more of the same … I’d love for the Brewers to release Tellez & trade for a better bat to play 1B later this month at the deadline

    Immediately expendable - Tapia, Winker & Mejia TBD (hopefully soon) - Tellez, Urius, & Hiura We need to add some new pieces to what is an overall solid team Tyrone Taylor’s bat & defense should help us once he is back on the big league roster which should be after the break It will be interesting to see what happens with these other players A bat (ideally one who can cover 1B) & a bullpen arm coupled with the return of a few players from the IL may be enough to win the dreadful NL Central

    Scarily similar to Yelich in 2019 … & he’s never been the same since - not even close. So glad this is only a bruise!

    He has looked very good lately - I hope he stays hot He’d have to play extremely well for anyone to trade for him

    I don’t remember a year where Milwaukee had significant injuries at both the Major league & AAA levels at the same time This current roster has 10+ guys that I would not have anticipated “helping” us this year This may be one of Counsell’s better managerial jobs - keeping the Brew Crew afloat with injuries everywhere How long before we see … Wicho? Keston? Sal? Who else might join the Crew?

    MSJ reports Taylor’s elbow is an issue again. May be wise to get surgery & go another direction. Who is healthy & available in Nashville? We would need a RH bat.

    Burnes looked horrible against San Fran recently He was throwing batting practice He gave up four HRs & never made adjustments His 2023 value is lower than 2022 or 2021

    Any chance Winker gets DFA’d? He’s been quite the disappointment & offers nothing defensively.

    There appear to be several roster changes coming in the next week Ruf or Voit? … there is not room for both on the 26-man roster Monasterio will return to Nashville once Adames is healthy Who gets moved down when Urias is added? I assume Brosseau Is Wiemer safe? What about Turang? I assume both will remain in Milwaukee What about our pitching staff? How soon will Woody return?

    I suggest the Angels move their AA team out west & the Brewers move their AAA team to Huntsville AL again. If they were make this move to Huntsville - I hope they change the name - currently the Rocket City Trash Pandas.
