  1. I responded to his suggestion that I take a deep breath & consider our 6-2 record My comments were about a player who has underperformed for 3+ years On one - not even the site owner - should instruct forum posters to get perspective That is not anyone’s responsibility I didn’t attack or curse anyone … I expressed frustration with Yeli’s poor play Feel free to send me a private message or a text … my cell is easily found online … but there is no need for you to “instruct me” here in the board
  2. A great bench player or a bottom of the order bat 😉
  3. Hopefully you aren’t suggesting that because you bought a website that many of us enjoyed before you came along that you now get to be condescending to users who express their opinions on a player’s poor performance My interpretation of your suggestion for me to take a deep breath & consider our record was that you were rude & condescending I’ve not attacked other board members or picked fights with anyone … I have expressed frustration over Yelich playing everyday despite his ongoing 3+ year slump
  4. The Peterson reference was in the post you replied to
  5. Why the last paragraph? As owner of this site - Are you truly qualified to make such a recommendation? I’m okay with everything else in this post I’m also okay with your comments in tonight’s game thread until you attempted to guide me & suggest that I take a deep breath - as I wrote in response, that is beyond your place - even if you are the site owner
  6. It is not your job to make suggestions to me regarding how I feel about a player & tell me to get perspective … that’s rude no matter how kind the delivery … it’s not your place - period
  7. I was responding to the .250 batting average … in my opinion, that is mediocre - especially for someone battling first or third every day
  8. It’s not polite to recommend that I take a deep breath & consider our 6-2 record
  9. He has a noodle arm & occasionally misplays balls in the OF He has good speed & is a swell guy & teammate … otherwise he is subpar
  10. My comments on Yeli should not be corrected He plays for the Brewers & he is no longer a good player My referencing his poor play doesn’t require that I take a deep breath … nothing will alter my view of his play other than better play or his being benched, released or traded Instructing me or others to be mindful of our 6-2 start is condescending & equally rude … thus the dad comment I don’t believe the owner’s responsibilities require that all comments about Brewers players are positive
  11. Capable & serviceable baseball players should not be in the lineup every day … he would be a good bench bat since he has a decent OBP … he is nowhere close to where he was four years ago … time to swallow hard, eat the contract, & play more talented & productive players
  12. And that player - despite his outrageous contract - should not be in the lineup everyday or batting in the top third every day
  13. My comments have nothing to do with our record after tonight Yelich is no longer a good player … we can have a different opinion I will ask kindly - please stop suggesting that I take a deep breath If you are bothered by my posts - stop reading them or go watch the Twins I don’t need a dad
  14. For 25 players - production is the key to playing time For Yeli - not required … we need to remember “how much he cares” … I’m told it is far more than any of us
  15. Voit trying to hit a 6-run homer with no one on base
  16. I’m so glad I’m not alone on this topic Bite the bullet & … release him bench him drop him in the order
  17. Unfortunately - we are due a clunker after six straight wins I hate to burn the bullpen I’d rather see Lauer “take one for the team” & get to 95-100 pitches before he exits Maybe he can work out the kinks & be good for his next start I think I’ll watch a TV show & follow the game via my phone until we show some sign of life
  18. Great backhanded glove work by Adames- deep in the hole toward 3rd base - poor throw to Voit at first base Tellez probably would’ve snagged it for the out - but the throw was not good
  19. Can Bryse Wilson pitch again today as a long reliever after pitching the 9th inning last night? Who is next in line to go multiple innings?
  20. Similar to his first few innings last week Hopefully he will once again snap out of it & give us six “quality start” innings But … he’s not looking good so far
