  1. Looks like Abner was touched up a little today.
  2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you appear to be still typing too. Take the L. Let's move on.
  3. Let's compare two rich guys, Coun$ell to Herb Kohl: Ted Davis More on Herb Kohl’s commitment to Milwaukee. He told me that during the Sale of the Bucks Steve Ballmer called to ask what was the highest bid? It was $550 Million from Lasry-Edens. Ballmer offered $1 Billion but he would move the Team to Seattle. Herb Kohl’s said no. 12:14 PM · Dec 28, 2023 https://x.com/nbated/status/1740435959974699421?s=20
  4. David Ross was pure class about how all that went down. His bizarre rant about the Brewers roof, on the other hand . . .
  5. I can. And do.
  6. I don't mind that he went for the money. But 1) to go to the Cubs. That is pretty rotten. And 2) his self-justification that he was helping other managers by raising the pay-bar, but in the process getting one fired. He really showed his true character with that one.
  7. I'm not sure why people are upset at Coun$ell. I've watched him for years and I think I know the man pretty well. He doesn't care about money. He's got plenty in his bank account. More important, he's way too loyal to take the job with the Mets.
  8. Who has reported that he may be available October 1?
  9. Robots. Wait. Too early?
  10. I want to hear more from the sabermetric internet baseball experts here about how Counsell is too loyal to go to the Mets.
  11. $3 million base salary plus incentives. Much better. He makes his money if he's able to play.
  12. We really need our starters to step up this year. https://www.mlb.com/news/how-mlb-teams-can-overcome-low-2024-playoff-odds Brewers: 35.4% Why the odds are against them: The Brewers rode elite pitching to 92 wins and the NL Central title in 2023, overcoming a lineup that ranked 17th in the Majors in runs scored and tied for 24th in home runs. However, after the team traded its ace, Corbin Burnes, to Baltimore, its rotation might not be good enough to carry the club in 2024. More of the onus has been placed on Milwaukee’s offense, which ranks 20th in projected WAR for the upcoming season. How they can defy the odds: It’s all about the youth. Sal Frelick, Garrett Mitchell, Brice Turang, Joey Ortiz and DL Hall are all slated to play sizable roles for Milwaukee alongside Jackson Chourio (MLB Pipeline’s No. 2 overall prospect) in 2024. If Chourio can make an immediate impact and some of their other inexperienced players also step up, the Brewers should remain competitive in a division that isn’t exactly a buzzsaw.
  13. This post is A+ troll.
  14. https://www.si.com/mlb/cardinals/news/ex-brewers-two-time-all-star-available-cardinals-are-possible-landing-spot-pat3 I would be crushed if Big Woo goes to the cards.
  15. The Brewers gave him every opportunity to deliver and then some. I wish him well.
  16. Yes, of course, but all things in perspective. Go Brewers!
  17. Here's a stat: Stats are not 100% predictive.
  18. He's got some nice movement on his pitches.
  19. Anyone done a deep dive into Joshua Quezada? How good is he and when can we expect him to help us in the Bigs?
  20. My kingdom for a starting pitcher.
  21. Let's all dream for a second.
