    I am gobsmacked. Gobsmacked- Chiefly British, informal. Overwhelmed with wonder, surprise, or shock; astounded. A reference to being shocked, as if by a blow (smack) to the mouth (gob), or to clapping a hand to one's mouth.

    Props for mentioning the Ok St mascot. Missed the game and the thread (Grandparents' Day at the kindergarden, y'know). But I was thrilled to look in and see us up 6-0 in the bottom of the 9th. Then another Cubs loss. And grandson's k-garden teacher is very easy on the eyes and has a killer Belgian-French accent, as well. Not a bad day at all!

    I know this is not a football site, But I get the Wisoconsin connexion. I neither hate nor love Rodgers or the Pack as a rule, though I have liked the Packers in recent years. I have NEVER liked the Jets. But this is a sad development of any NFL fan. I wanted to see AR play, for better or worse. I won't be glad for any player to be injured (though I might laugh quietly to myself if Deion Sanders accidentally cut out his own tongue).
