  1. How does Ortiz come up every time we really need a hit??
  2. I totally disagree. Listen to some other commentators -like I have- and you'll appreciate these guys.
  3. It was. They made it more interesting and more PAINFUL. Thanks, Kuhnel for giving them an insurmountable lead.
  4. And where did this Kuhnel cat come from? He needs to go back there.
  5. what absolute garbage. With few exceptions, very few, I have no confidence in anybody at the plate or on the mound with this team at the moment.
  6. he may be a reliable mule, but we need a thoroughbred
  7. I finally see what y'all have said about Sanchez wasting ABS challenges.
  8. I'm not sure I ever want him to be out there. But we won!
  9. But do we have a real closer? It doesn't look like it.
  10. I'm sure this has beenasked, but does Pratt's arrival mean Ortiz's departure?
  11. All I know is that we lost another close one where neither our pitching nor hitting was good enough. Extremely disappointing. 😕😕😕
  12. Oh boy. Ortiz up in the clutch. I think I'll go get a beer, or a whisky....
  13. As we all know, there's always only one reason..... 😉 Of course, I didn't see Chourio's failure to catch a home run ball. But those HR robberies used to be exceptional plays; now I guess they are considered routine.
  14. I concede your point, sir! I have just been able to start paying attention to the game. I've been cooking at church and hanging curtain rods at home. No excuse for ignorance, though; thanks for calling me out.
  15. When I was a mediocre but enthusiastic softball coach, and when I knew the other team's weakest batter was up, I would give a sign to our pitcher that meant "just throw strikes and she'll get out." That's the sign I'd throw if Ortiz* came up to bat, *insert any name here
