Did anybody listen to Hall's post game interview? For those who didn't catch it, Billy gave me a little chuckle. He was asked about the game winning hit, and while he was going over it, he said "It was just a great at bat by me." Way to pat yourself on the back Billy. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
Victor still wouldn't pitch during the day. If it was a doubleheader tomorrow, he could pitch the 2nd game, with the scheduled starter pitching the first.
Not what I was looking for. I would like to say that we have been somewhat unlucky today. 2 balls have been hit to hard for runners to score from second. Hopefully this inning we can still get a run in.
I agree the Crew has some favorable pitching matchups, but after the last two games I have very little confidence that they will win 2. On the positive side, Branyan is back and playing how he was at the beginning of the season. Hopefully tonight will be the night Milwaukee will put up some solid defense and get some hits. Lets take 2 of 3 going into the break and get some momentum into the second half.
How about starting Prince tonight? I'd like to see what he could do against Redman. I think he needs to get a start soon, and we can give Lyle the night off. We'd still have Overbay as a decent left handed bat off the bench.
We really need to get this game. Maddux can be had guys. Be patient up there, this isn't the Maddux of old. Lets get back on track. Carlos, we need some RBIs today.
Congrates Ned, you managed to piss away another game. I try really hard not to hate on Yost, but that was pathetic. And while I'm hot, Rickie, lay off fricken ball 4 in the 9th. Not sure if you know this or not, but we need the baserunner.
Isn't this why Prince is still here? No crap. 2 on, nobody out. Huge power hitter on the bench. Lets pinch hit someone who has no chance of driving in a run. And have the guy try to bunt. What the hell are they thinking.
