  1. C'mon Sal. You were lucky you weren't picked off the first time. You have to be more careful than that.
  2. Glad we don't have a Sunday punt lineup. CC would have one.
  3. I wonder if that's ever been done before? And on Easter to boot?
  4. UConn is on another level than everybody else. They're going to win it all.
  5. Feel free to score a point, Illinois.
  6. I'd be shocked if he isn't DFAd at some point this season.
  7. Are we going to get screwed on balls and strikes all year long?
  8. I wasn't impressed with the load we got back from the Orioles. Only two prospects and neither was a top 5 prospect in their farm system. This is probably going to turn out to be a fleecing.
  9. I can't wait until the Mets come to town the last weekend of the season so we can boo McNeil.
  10. Loving this first inning for more reasons than one.
  11. If he's the superstar in the making that everyone thinks he is, you don't treat him with kid gloves. I hate when teams do that. He should be playing almost every day. At least he's in the lineup.
  12. So Chourio drops from the leadoff spot all the way to #9. I kind of liked him hitting #1, but I guess you can look at it as a second leadoff position.
  13. A 13 point deficit at halftime isn't a laugher. Teams can overcome those deficits to win. However, it ain't happening tonight. NC State played with more energy and Marquette's biggest weakness did them in and ended their season tonight. Just disappointing.
  14. 1994 Went to that game and it was colder than cold. Oakland's Terry Steinbach hits a first inning grand slam and score another run to take a 5-0 lead before we even bat and I'm already thinking the game is over but we tie it up after three and win 11-7. Then me and my buddies go to the strip joint and celebrate.
  15. And Joplin misses all three free throws to end the half. Deep trouble!
