    Same. There's no doubt in my mind that Barry will revert back to his old ways if he is retained and it wastes another year of Super Bowl aspirations. It was right after the near miss in Carolina that MLF said he'd get more involved with the defense, and they played much better the rest of the way. I don't see that continuing to start next season. A leopard doesn't change its spots.

    Am I the only one that noticed Tom Rinaldi's report of MLF saying he prays during Carlson field goal attempts? That pretty much speaks volumes.

    I'm not worried about Love being this guy his entire career. He was a first year starter and I'm confident he'll learn from this and MLF will coach him up as well.

    So both McCarthy and Siriani are sticking around. Bold strategy. The NFC East could be a bad division next season.

    I would rather they just got plain beat instead of living with the feeling that this was the one that got away.

    Same. Going into this game I told myself no matter what happens I'll be happy how the season went. But when you squander opportunities that results in losing a game you should've won, things change. This one's gonna hurt for a while.

    Just let them score now so you have enough time to at least force overtime.

    This is four down territory the rest of the way. That's not good at all. The defense MUST get a turnover here.

    They just can't keep Carlson past this season. What a terrible draft selection among a slew of great ones by Gute.
