  1. I wonder if a condition of MLF's extension is that Bisaccia must be shown the door. He has to go, but I can't even get excited about that because he hasn't been the special teams coordinator for the past 20 years. We can't just assume the special teams will get better simply because we fired Bisaccia. I'll believe it when I see it.
  2. I call this Milwaukee Brewers Syndrome, but at least they have the excuse that they can't financially compete with teams like the Dodgers and Yankees because of no salary cap. But I agree they have to take the risk of going with someone else. In this case, the devil you know is not better than the devil you don't know.
  3. The Chargers are the Packers of the AFC.
  4. The proverbial schoolyard bully pantsing the bespectacled straight A student on the playground and then taking his lunch money. I am so disappointed in Policy. I can't believe someone who came from the loins of someone who oversaw the operations of one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history would do this. At best, this team will spin its wheels in neutral as a fringe playoff team. At worst, this is the first step back to the 70s and 80s. The team has taken on the personality of its coach as a passive, soft and mentally weak team that squats and pees like a submissive dog at the first sign of adversity, with four losses and one tie in games where they held a two score lead, and in the case of this past Saturday, three scores. For the first time since the Infante era, I will have no expectations of real success for the near future, which will do my blood pressure good. But hey, as long as the Ariens Sledding Hill and Johnsonville Brat House are still cash flow positive, no need to rock the boat.
  5. Apparently, this was said in 2022 when preparing his Jets team for their game against the Packers. Three years later, it looks like he's right.
  6. And guess what game that one loss was.
  7. Niners go into the defending champ's house and win. How did they possibly do that with all the injuries they sustained this season???
  8. OH, I have no doubt he can take a moribund franchise and turn them into a perennial #7 seed within three years.
  9. Sounds like Kittle tore his Achilles. Sucks for the Niners.
  10. That's even worse than what Nixon did last night.
  11. Point out the insult. And I am right.
  12. Experience beats youth in the end. This Jags team will be interesting to watch the next few years.
  13. My God, how many 4th quarter lead changes have there been already this weekend?
  14. Dude, I'm not going to debate you on this because you're not worth the hassle. My opinion of the talent level aligns with most people who have played/coached/covered the NFL. I'll take their word and my own opinions over yours.
  15. Well, he's rumored to be on the hot seat too if he doesn't break through and comes up short of the Super Bowl again. I wonder if the Rich Eisens of the world will defend him too.
  16. I honestly don't understand why Hafley is such a hot head coaching candidate. Reports are that the Raiders and Dolphins have interest in him. I wouldn't mind him continuing to be DC here, but his defense has also had its fair share of clunkers this year. He strikes me as a Raheem Morris/Steve Spagnola type of coach. Solid coordinator, lousy head coach.
  17. There's nothing wrong with the talent on this team. A team dearth of talent doesn't consistently jump out to double digit leads to start games. They are a better team than the Bears. in 180+ minutes of game time, the Bears only led for roughly 90 seconds of it yet still won two out of the three games. The difference is the Bears find ways to win and the Packers find ways to lose. That falls on the coach. Nobody beats the Packers more than the Packers do.
  18. Harbaugh right now is basically MLF 2.0. He would be a lateral move. I don't know who the right coach would be, but one thing is for certain: in this case, the devil you know is not better than the devil you don't know. Who would've thought Liam Coen would lead the Jaguars to 13 wins his first season? I mean, I did pick them to win the division, but not with that record. Who thought Vrabel would turn the Patriots into a Super Bowl contender his first year? There is someone better out there. You just have to find the right one.
  19. Even JJ knows it's time for a change.
  20. I don't even know where to start on this, since the only thing correct in this post is the part of losing the fan base. Yes, training camp will be packed, Family night will be packed again, and home games will be sellouts again. You know what else will happen again? The fans will be left with bad taste in their mouths again come January. Policy has every reason to move on. The success isn't there. I would think someone from his lineage would understand that. Considering Gute is more miss than hit on first round picks, is that really a concern? He makes his hay on day 2 and 3 of the draft. The roster is hardly messed up. Is there room for improvement in some areas? Sure, but every team deals with that, and cap issues are easily worked around. People still take jobs with teams like the Jets and the Browns. Green Bay would easily be the most desired place to come. How can you possibly say the Parsons acquisition backfired? He went All Pro again this year, the team went 9-3-1 before he got hurt and failed to win a game since. Finally, this is not an emotional decision. MLFs job status has been a topic of discussion for practically the entire year. His record without Rodgers is 29-21-1. That's incredibly average, and fans hanging on to him being an elite regular season coach are missing the fact that he's not even that.
  21. On another note, I didn't even notice this. All the more reason to let this clown go.
  22. The Packers failed to win five games this year that they had a two score lead in. That's on coaching. MLF doesn't have the killer instinct and the fire in his belly that Ben Johnson has, and his all gas no brakes talk is all laughable lip service. One playoff win in five years, and if it wasn't for playoff expansion they'd only have played in one playoff game and MLF wouldn't even have a job in Green Bay. His play calling and clock management has been a sore spot all season long. We can't continue to keep going down this road and expect things to get better, and the longer we wait, the worse it will get. Can him by tomorrow before candidates become slim pickings.
  23. Still waiting for Matt "all gas, no brakes" LeFleur to show up.
