  1. Say what you want about Yelich, but if he was DHing tonight, we'd still have two challenges left.
  2. Bill wanted to challenge that but thanks to Sanchez, he was gun shy to do so.
  3. I don't think Sproat should be shaking any catcher off right now.
  4. Wasn't Sproat called a prospect when the trade happened? Why has he been a Brewer this entire time?
  5. Nah. He'll be back on the bench tomorrow watching Yelich lead off again.
  6. He still draws a lot of walks. Unfortunately, that's about the most we can usually hope for.
  7. Just so he'd be miserable playing for a loser, but that would be a nice bonus.
  8. I wish Jesse Winker was still a Met right about now.
  9. Do you buy into the theory that a position change affects your hitting?
  10. If you're taking the subway making $450 million, you got more than dying to worry about.
  11. I don't know why anybody would want to play for the Mets. It's where careers go to die.
  12. I'll say something positive about Yelich. When he goes the other way, he's not that bad a hitter.
  13. Would've liked to see Miz get one more inning and qualify for the win.
  14. It just doesn't look right seeing Bonds as the home run king.
  15. I think a return to Milwaukee would do him good. Get him in the pitching lab and rehab him. The Mets sure don't know how to coach anybody up.
  16. Yeah, I'm feeling a little bad for Freddy too. Giving up a double to Yelich is unforgivable.
