Yeah, I was just looking at the splits before coming on here. I don't think there's anyway you can keep Sanchez out of the starting lineup tonight. He hammers Snell.

Murph said last night they weren't naming a starter until today. Keep forgetting it's only 7am out there still so probably won't hear anything till later. The consensus among everyone seems to be a game of Gasser/Drohan/Patrick. If they are up late, like 3-1 in the 7th or 8th will we see Miz for an inning? It wouldn't surprise me. If it's goes to a Game 5 it's gonna be an all hands on deck anyway.

I'm saying if they did just the Braves in Milwaukee. He played 13 seasons and had 450 HR's with them. He played 1 year in Boston and 1 year in Atlanta so I think where he started or ended up really doesn't matter. If the criteria is where players started or ended up their careers and they have to be a lifelong player of one franchise that would take a lot of guys off their teams Mr. Rushmores.

Eddie Mathews is the first guy that comes to mind. Not saying that's where I'd end up in the end, but that's the first name that came to mind.

They have the Black Culture fest thing going on, but more likely to accomodate a Packers preseason game?

Because they know they can ask the Brewers for more since they are the ones playing catch up.

Whatever. Fine. Now go get a guy that will be way cheaper. Don't have to deal with the BS anymore of LA jacking up the price.

There's a reason Steve Phillips is FORMER GM.

I don't think Frelick will be back this year. The fact that they are getting 2nd opinions tells me they are looking for an option that may not be surgical and thus take him out the rest of the year. I think it'll be Chourio, Mitchell, Lara, Lockridge the rest of the way with Bauers getting some spot starts(yuck) based on what Murph is doing with the lineup.

This was clearly a “we want Chicago to win the division” type of call. Horrible.

I think they definitely need a bullpen arm, if not 2. It's not even so much about the trust, but these guys are getting overworked. And the backend of this bullpen is just not good at all. Getting Koenig back is good, but whatever is happening with Patrick isn't good. And a guy they probably counted on improving-Yoho, has obviously not happened. They need more arms that can pitch in those games where they are only down a run or 2 and can keep it close to give them a chance.

It was because of a scheduling thing with the World Cup being played across the street to aleviate the congestion and parking.

I was actually irritated when I got to the game last night to see they were wearing them.

Whew! Glad I was wrong. I'll continue to think the sky is falling the moment something is announced until proven otherwise.

But wouldn't you want him playing rather than riding the bench?
