Do we really think they are gonna call up Quero to play 1 out of every 6 days? It's gotta be Wild Bill. -

The NLDS doesn't start till Oct. 4/5 so it does make good sense. Give him rest. I feel confident he wouldn't need a start to knock off any rust.

Watching on YouTubeTV tonight and not having to deal with FanDuel. I constantly have to leave the game and then enter it again because of buffering and then the sound and game don't match up. I'm glad I get to watch without dealing with that tonight.

Don't even think about tomorrow. Get tonight's game. Leave Chicago no worse than 7 games up. Lose tonight and then a very tough game tomorrow and limp out going 1-4 and they are only 5 GB? It's game on. Give the Cubs new hope while we've lost 5 of 6. Not an ideal situation. In 2018, Brewers were 6 GB on August 28. We all know what happened. This is far from over.

I can't believe the game hasn't been called yet. The tarp was just pulled onto the field. They start letting people in soon and also gotta pay vendors for what I'd say is 50/50 chance at best to get the game in. And with the Cubs history of calling games vs us, this is very odd. But I got nothing to do tonight, so I'll wait it out as long as needed!

The decision to postpone the game tonight was likely made by the Cubs as soon as they lost their starter in the 3rd inning. Just waiting to announce it.

Get the 1st game. Then the pressure is on the Cubs. Only gotta win 1 of the next 4 and everything is good. Obviously anything more than that would be fantastic.

In 2018, the Brewers were 6 games back on August 28. We know how that turned out. We all know how baseball can be. Take 2 of 3 this weekend and stomp on the Cubs next week. Get as much breathing room as you can. And don't settle until it's clinched.

Miller Park Way/175 is shut down. Plan accordingly. Parking lots seem fine, but that's gonna be a mess getting in and out.

Late to the party but I'll say my conservative guess is 16-14. What I really think is 19-11.

Curt Hogg mentioned that the Brewers said if Contreras goes to the IL it's for season ending surgery. Definitely an OK backup plan if Contreras gets worse. Jansen also has an .840 OPS vs lefties. So it's not the worst move and all they did was give up a guy that by the sounds of it the Brewers were getting frustrated with his swing selection and he wasn't making the necessary changes.
