    Oh, now I remember what I was going to say before. Hall stealing second base, with two outs and Lee up. Whether or not I agree with that I don't know, but one thing that it does open up is an IBB to Carlos to face Overbay, who has not been the same player he was two months ago.

    Uh, I'm pretty sure Lee is going to be picked for the team. And no, I don't have a problem with him not being in the top 3. What more do you want? Well, Lee is like 9th or 10th in the NL Outfielders in VORP, and many here have gone on record saying that Carlos is less deserving than Jason Bay, Brian Giles, Adam Dunn, Andruw Jones, Miguel Cabrera and Pat Burrell. Add the 3 starters (Abreu, Beltran and Edmonds) and you have a logjam of 9 other "more deserving OFs" so there is at least a fair chance that someone like Doug Davis or Bill Hall will be our All Star.

    To start winning we need to find some players who can hit. Clark has done nothing but hit all year, same with Carlos Lee. Hall provided offense again, as did Overbay. There are 4 hitters, the other 5 need to step up. The ones we are paying the most money, JenKKins and Miller need to start earning it and Hardy needs to be sent down. Oh yeah, and Branyan needs to finish his little rehab stint and get his but back to Milwaukee. I don't know if it will help, but we need to find someone to play over Jenkins and Magruder. If it isnt Hart or Cruz, that's fine, make a trade. We cant just give up. Trade for a RH corner OF. Someone who can hit .260 w/ 22 Hrs and 75 RBIs in a full season. God knows that isnt Jenkins and would be a HUGE boost to the lineup.

    Well we have the meat of the order due up in the ninth 1. If you are a Brewer fan we have 6-7-8 up in the 9th, which is hardly the meat of the order. 2. If you are referring to the Cubs 3-5 due up in the 9th I thought I gave you a link to the Cubs fan message board. Please stay over there troll.

    Now, if Moeller makes out (which he will) and Sheets leads of the 8th, he'll be pinch hit for - that is for sure. The only question is...WILL BEN GIVE IT BACK??

    It seems like every week we add another spot in out lineup that we can not count on. When the season started it was 8(Hardy) and 9(pitcher) Then by about May it had turned into 7(catcher)-8-9 Sometime about Mid May it was evident that 6(jenkins)-7-8-9 were automatic outs And now, in Late June we can just about add 5(overbay)-6-7-8-9. It really is a head scratcher that we are last in the league in offense.

    Wow this offense is craptastic. Outside of Hall's Hr today and a pointless 9th inning Hr by Jenks Sunday we have gone 2 1/2 games w/o manufacturing a run.
