  1. Why?? He can't play anymore. He has no arm he can't hit and running like the wind was maybe 2016. He is a great guy no doubt but so am I. I don't deserve to be on the team either.
  2. It is pretty wild that we have two right handed bats that lead the league in homer runs and we are basically helpless against lefties. How??
  3. Release Cain. Bring Hiura back. Play Taylor in center. Cutch and Yelich split left and DH.
  4. If Hiura can't make a dent with this lineup with holes all over the place especially against lefties I'm very disappointed. I gotta believe he can help somewhere. Man.
  5. Ashby should be used like Hader used to be and it would make this team much stronger. He's got the stuff.
  6. Woodruff is just a guy. Sorry to say it but the whole two ace thing is up in smoke.
  7. If Small is ready for the show let's see him already. Hoby and Suter are not the kind of lefty you go to in a big spot. I would like to see him get a shot or stop the Ashby yo yo and make him a lefty burner. They need help big time.
  8. There was zero chance of this version of Williams getting Naquin there. Too bad we don't have a hard throwing lefty to throw there.
  9. You gotta wonder if Cain didn't lose a years pay because of covid if he would just hang it up? He's done.
  10. Brewers can not win if they are going to keep giving away Burnes starts without winning. These games have to be basically auto W.
  11. Been saying with the offense where it is you need at least two more good quality relief arms. You can't pitch Hader every night. If you want to win without offense then you are going to have to find some pitching. Something is going to have to give.
  12. With the lack of offense this team is going to need all the bullpen it can get. We probably need two relivers in order to play all the close games. It is going to be tough to survive with Williams and Box looking blah.
  13. Angel had to help of course but Lauer looked fantastic. This development along with Ashby and Small coming up means the decision is clear. You have to trade some pitching to get some bats. It aint ideal but it is necessary.
  14. Yelich hitting three drains my hope for any kind of offense explosion. The fact is there are no real good answers but man. Depressing. That Dodgers lineup has 6 guys who would hit three for us. How do you compete with that?
  15. It's wild the difference in shape between Cutch and Cain and they aren't too far apart in age.
  16. They need a closer so maybe expand the deal and give them Hader as a sweetener to take the money and get back another piece?? I get that he's worth a ton but just how much more than getting that money off the books??
  17. Yankees appear to be fed up with Joey Gallo. he's been terrible. How bout Yelich for him?? Who says no??
  18. Meanwhile Hader and the starting pitching probably walk because you know finances.
  19. Yelich ab was basically please walk me. There was no aggression of give me those rbi. Get on your back foot man and drive a ball. Jeez.
  20. Not sure how much Cards signed Albert for but I would rather have him than Keston hitting cleanup for the Crew. Easy.
  21. That is correct. You see what happened last year and you come back with basically the same roster plus Cutch is not ideal. They had an extra long offseason and still didn't do much. The fact that Mark said Cutch wasn't in the budget tells you it wasn't up to Stearns. They didn't want to spend any money so there you go. You get what you pay for.
  22. Yelich not appearing in this game is very telling unless he's hurt which also an issue.
  23. The Jake Cousins experiment probably needs to end.
  24. Brewers relying on Adames being who he was last season feels kinda risky.
