Yep. They are not messing around at all. Brewers need to take note.
-
Mets sent Dom Smith to the minors and they are running away with the division. Buck don't play. They basically have set a standard. Brought up the Plummer kid and he is killing it. Brewers just never push the chips in on moves like this. Cain should be released. There is no reason to keep him on the roster. You are not being serious.
-
Not only is Cain unplayable but Yelich hitting three is just not a serious debate anymore. I like Counsell overall but man he just is too slow to address the obvious. We have no serious media to get any real feet to the fire answers either. Joe Giradi is being grilled like a brat after every single game. It's wild how Counsell basically can make the decisions he does because nobody and I mean nobody is going to ask him about it.

Basic baseball beats the Brewers. Two straight horrific losses
-
Brewers have to get serious about the Cain situation. That said JBJ was here all season so he's not going anywhere.
-
How on earth does Counsell defend not having Cain bunt there?? Now we get Hoby?? I don't know what to say.
-
Sanchez needs to stick around. He looks the part.
-
This offense has so many holes right now. If you don't homer how do you score when you have a terrible bat coming up every other ab??
-
Nice job by this young man. Very nice.
-
So we going to press our luck here?? Be happy with the five innings Craig.
-
I never want to see Hiura against a lefty ever.
-
Norris pitches alot for a guy who stinks. It's weird.
-
Brutal. You have a guy at second nobody out and you get nothing they get a cheap two out run. I blame Cain ab.
-
Who would have guessed he would still be a cub and the young guys would be all gone. Terrible management.
-
Watching Yelich play the outfield is not fun.
-
We all knew that year 5 of the Cain contract would be rough but I never guessed it would be this bad. For the money it has to be one of the worst contracts in baseball this year.
-
Someone check to see if Cain is pulling a Pete Rose and has money on the Cubs. If not he should be cut .
-
Safe but that doesn't mean it was a good send.
-
Fire Lane come on man.
-
Hiura with a nice two strike approach last ab leads to a run. He is doing his job every night. Hopefully he won't disappear when everyone gets back.
-
Hope so. It would be a big win.
-
How you going to get to them?? I could be wrong. History with Hendricks aside I just don't see keeping them at bay with what we have.
-
I am shocked that this team is so thin in the minors that Kelley is a legit option. Draft college pitchers who maybe can come up in September and help.
-
Bad loss. Can't leave Kelley out there to get blown up but they are in a tough spot. Too bad because tomorrow is an L.
-
In the end often when you think you have outsmarted everyone it turns out there was a reason a guy was unemployed. Cain Yelich and Cutch making a combined 50 million dollars is insane.
