  1. What makes it especially annoying is that that edge was huge all game and then we get squeezed in the biggest moment of the game
  2. Spencer makes a good point how bad Contreras framed that should have been strike 3 to Freeman. Contreras has regressed significantly behind the plate. He's flatout been a bad defensive catcher this season.
  3. M-Braves open the game with swinging bunt, bunt, bunt that Smith throws into RF. It's 2-0 M-Braves and they haven't hit a ball beyond the infield grass.
  4. So many middle-middle 2 strike pitches from Knoth today. Think this will be his final inning with his pitch count pushing 70 through 2.2 innings.
  5. Just not Knoth's night here early. Command and control have not been great. Really grinding.
  6. Pratt flashed his big arm on the turn. Great defensive play from Di Turi and Pratt.
  7. This is why just looking at raw production in AAA isn't the end all be all. Hiura crushes AAA because he crushes bad pitches and you see way more bad pitches in AAA than in the MLB. When pitchers execute against Hiura he has big issues because his swing has holes in it.
  8. The 16-5 DSL Red Sox Red clearly didn't want a cycle hit against them so Anderson walked in his 4th PA. Cycle watch is officially over.
  9. Luis Pena is 0-4 and probably only has 1 more PA (barring some big offensive innings) to continue his streak of reaching base safely in every single game this year.
  10. He was 15th in the DSL with a 177 wRC+ (min. 50 PA) coming into today and he's really flying under the radar because of Made and Anderson's power output and Pena's power/speed combo.
  11. Did it get changed back to a triple because it's still showing as a triple for me.
  12. Jose Anderson with a 3B in the 6th inning. With a 3B and HR already, we are officially on cycle watch!
  13. Juan Ortuno with an RBI double to push the DSL Brewers 1 lead to 4-2. Ortuno hasn't had the press that Made, Pena, Anderson have had, but he's had a great start to the season.
  14. Don't know why you're responding that to me. I was just answering a question.
  15. I don’t know if this is just a one year thing, but he has a .689 OPS with a 36% K-rate against LHP this season.
  16. By my math no. He hit 172 days of service time today. Even if he hadn't, I'm not sure burning his last option year would be worth it.
  17. 2-2 with how the Brewers offense played in this series is a blessing. 17 runs in 4 games at Coors is not very good. I worry the early season power the Brewers flashed is just never coming back at this point. Through the game tonight the Brewers are 19th in HR, 21st in ISO, 25th in barrel rate, and 17th in hard hit rate.
  18. Craig Yoho continues to be a very nasty pitcher. Probably my favorite pitcher to watch in the system right now.
  19. That swing decision from Hoskins was horrible. You're up in the count 2-0 and you swing at perfectly executed curveball on the outer black? It's honestly probably past the point where he needs his playing time cut.
  20. Luke Adams with a grand slam. An absolute line drive laser beam that barely cleared the high wall in LF.
  21. Not that Henderson is being hit hard or anything, but his lack of faith in his slider is so apparent on nights like tonight where his FB isn't as sharp as normal. Feels like every AB has been a grind today because that FB isn't getting the swing and miss.
  22. Hall's defense has been lackluster in LF tonight. That's 2 doubles for the M-Braves that probably should have been held to a single.
  23. With Curt Hogg reporting that this will be Hall's last rehab start, I feel like I don't want Hall in the MLB. His rehab assignment has been very unimpressive even with the velo slightly up. I just don't think he deserves to be in the MLB over any of the 13 pitchers on the roster right now (assuming Civale replaces Junk)
  24. Absolute moon shot. Breakout season for Areinamo.
