Navarreto with a mighty swing fouls the ball directly into the forward portion of his left foot insole and hits the dirt immediately. Remarkably, he stays in for several more pitches, and even has to bust out of the box after lining a ball foul down the right field line. But with a 60-day IL placement now, it's clear that imaging indicated a significant injury.
