Prior to the cash considerations acquisition of Tampa RH reliever Jhan Marinez on 5/12, the last Brewers - Rays trade was this one: 12/01/12 -- Acquired RHP Burke Badenhop in exchange for OF Raul Mondesi, Jr. Now keep in mind that the Raul Mondesi, Jr. that the Brewers traded at that time is not the more famous younger brother of the same name, the heralded Royals prospect who was just suspended 50 games for a PED violation. And the Mondesi, Jr. that the Brewers traded never played a single game in the Tampa system, just sort of disappeared via injury / absence from the pro game. He was also the Brewers farmhand who somewhat famously missed home plate on a home run trot while with Helena in 2012, costing his team the game. The first post in this thread has been updated to reflect the "last" with all 29 teams. Still not on speaking terms with the Marlins!

Prior to Tuesday night's acquisition of LHP Sam Freeman from the Rangers for cash, the most recent Milwaukee - Texas trade was pretty easy to remember: Rangers (01/19/15) -- Acquired INF Luis Sardinas, RHP Corey Knebel and RHP Marcos Diplan in exchange for RHP Yovani Gallardo and cash considerations The first post in this thread has been updated to reflect the "last" with all 29 teams. Still not on speaking terms with the Marlins!

Ken Howard, ‘White Shadow’ Star, SAG-AFTRA President, Dies at 71 “The White Shadow,” created by Bruce Paltrow, was a progressive drama ahead of its time in exploring the sometimes awkward, sometimes tense and sometimes funny aspects of race relations in the context of a high school basketball team with mostly African American players and a white coach, a former NBA player named Ken Reeves, played by Howard. The series, which ran from 1978-81 on CBS, represented television’s first ensemble drama with a predominantly African American cast (though admittedly Howard, the star of the show, was white). While no saint, Howard’s Reeves was always sticking his nose into situations where the high school vice principal (played by African American actress Joan Pringle), didn’t think it belonged, but almost always because he was trying to do the right thing. While Reeves did his best for his players both on the court and in their private lives, the team ribbed Reeves in a manner not terribly unlike the dynamic on “Welcome Back, Kotter.”

Wayne Rogers, Trapper John McIntyre on 'M*A*S*H*,' dies at 82 Rogers was on "M.A.S.H." from 1972 to 1975, becoming one of many original cast members to leave the wildly popular show that went on until 1983. He was initially considered for Alda's character, but he preferred Trapper's sunnier disposition to Hawkeye's darkly acerbic personality. The characters were essentially equals when the show began, but it increasingly focused on Alda, which was a factor in Rogers' departure.

This super obscure deal: Mariners (03/24/10) -- Acquired cash in exchange for INF Edgar Trejo Trejo never suited up for a Mariner affiliate, played indy ball in 2011, was idle for 2012/13. has been updated in the initial post of this thread with the Sardinas deal. The Jonathan Villar trade was also updated; you shouldn't have to think hard about which Astros deal it replaced as the most recent.

There is a wondrous number of interviews, both with stars living and since passed, via the Archive of American Television at http://www.emmytvlegends.org/interviews/all-interviewees Each is catalogued with a "highlight" section, but in many cases, full length interviews, some extending several hours, can be found. Dick Van Patten (Eight is Enough), Russell Johnson (Gilligan's Island) as recent examples, and so many others we've highlighted in this thread, are among them. Incredibly addicting if you have the interest and the time.
