  1. Should have noted earlier - JR joins at the 14:00 minute mark - "Special guest JR Radcliffe of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel provides insider analysis on Milwaukee's trade strategies, the fallout from Angel Zerpa’s injury, and whether the Brewers should part with top prospects to acquire a big bat. The conversation also spotlights NL Central dynamics, the Cubs’ hot streak, and what it will take for the Brewers to secure the division."
  2. Yesterday we spotlighted 2025 Minor League Rule 5 losses by the Brewers. Today we checked in on the players who became minor league free agents at the end of the 2025 season who found work with a new affiliated organization in 2026 (or in Daz Cameron's case, the KBO in Korea), as part of our "Alumni Thread".

It'll be his first AAA appearance of 2026, after five outings (four starts) at AA, stats at the linked name above. *** As for the others lost in Rule 5 last December - UT Zavier Warren, Cincinnati - toiling in the AA Southern League for a 5th season LHP Caden Vire, Boston - 60-day IL, yet to debut OF Hedbert Perez, Toronto - 7-day IL, yet to debut OF Garrett Spain, Minnesota - enjoying the high-powered AA Texas League, .955 OPS, 14 of 24 hits for extra bases RHP Hansel Rincon, New York Yankees - Nine relief appearances at High-A, 7.20 ERA, 2.00 WHIP

  10. Thursday 5/7: Via WTMJ's Morning News (download link): Brewers 360 with Matt Arnold - "oooo boy this schedule! The Yankees coming to town with their star-studded lineup. 11. Maryvale has a 34-man roster and is coming off a day off and the Arizona League is scheduling additional seven-inning games. Can't blame the heat yet, 93 degrees at first pitch is chilly!
  12. Tonight's entry in the Transaction Thread did not help this game's cause.
  13. Wisconsin 9th inning - devastating. Definition of player development over winning - bring in RH reliever Jose Nova and his now-27.00 ERA to just get the very last out of the game with the bases loaded and a three-run lead. It did not end well.
  14. Speaking of an inning ending on a line out, LHP Mark Menfredi, Sr. made things much too interesting, as the Biloxi bullpen has done as of late, but the Shuckers finally snapped their seven-game losing streak behind starter Manuel Rodriguez, two homers by Eduardo Garcia, and a sweet game for Jesus Made (three singles and a walk).
  15. Wilson, down 3-2 in the top of the 7th, loaded the bases with two outs. Handelfry Encarnacion lined out to left to end the inning, a tough break because three Fayetteville outs later, Mother Nature put an end to things early.
  16. Wisconsin Timber Rattlers placed RHP Michael Fowler on the 7-day injured list. In his most recent game on Sunday 5/3, Fowler threw 52 pitches in relief. There was no evidence of injury on his final pitch before being pulled.
  17. More from Tuesday 5/5: Via the Fan Milwaukee's "Mason Crosby Show": Former Brewers pitcher Paul Wagner (go to the 03:30 minute mark) Via the "Wisconsin Sports Daily Show" with Steve "Sparky" Fifer: President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger (go to the 19:30 minute mark) *** Wednesday 5/6: VIDEO via Brewers.com: Adam McCalvy receives MLB Gold Card Via WTMJ's Morning News (download link): Brewers 360 with Jeff Levering - "Tuesday's game was called off due to rain, so what do broadcasters do when they have a rain delay and subsequent time off? Meanwhile, we go into Miz’s injury who is poised to make his next start in a few days, which the rain delay bought him even more time. And a check-in on Jackson Chourio who is coming back with full force off his injury. Plus, the John Sterling tributes." 20. Pregame Audio Wednesday 5/6 - Brewers Hitting Coordinator Brenton Del Chiaro Always one of the most insightful voices within the organization...
  21. Go to the 01:51:00 hour/minute mark for MiLB archive subscribers. On the first pitch of his at bat, Wilken fouled the ball off his front leg, and he immediately left the box, bent over for a good while, trying to stretch out his left calf area. After a couple of minutes with Trainer Jeff Paxson, Rick Sweet came out and pulled him from the at-bat. Wilken was able to walk back to the dugout, more of a hobble than a limp. I'm not a doctor but play one on Brewerfan forums, and am guessing (and hoping) it'll just be a nasty contusion and some residual pain for Brock, likely sitting out Thursday's doubleheader, but we'll see...
  22. Impressive from the Biloxi Media Notes today: C Darrien Miller extended his hit streak to 4 consecutive games on Tuesday with a 3-for-4 performance, his 2nd 3-hit performance of the season... Over the last 4 games, Miller is 7-for-12 with 3 home runs... Since the start of the second half in 2025 (June 24), Miller is among the Double-A leaders in on-base percentage (1st, .457), walk rate (2nd, 18.6%) and OPS (6th, .938)... Miller’s .457 on-base percentage over that span is the highest among all catchers in Minor League Baseball.
