  1. Sunday 3/22: Via WTMJ's Weekend News (download link): WTMJ’s Dominic Cotroneo, the host of “Brewers All Access” Via the "Locked on Network:" - "NL Central fans brace for a fierce division shakeup as the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers emerge as top contenders, but can the Brewers' magic withstand off-season losses yet again? JD Hafron leads a lively debate with Chuck Freimund, Sam Olbur, Jeff Carr, and Gary Morgan, unpacking whether additions like Alex Bregman and Eugenio Suárez will reshape the Cubs and Reds' championship odds, and if the Pirates’ youth movement vaults them into playoff relevance. Key storylines include over/under win total predictions, star power candidates like Paul Skenes and Elly De La Cruz, bold rookie picks, and expert analysis on the division’s deepest rotations and riskiest moves. Will Craig Counsell's Cubs live up to the hype, or will Milwaukee’s relentless approach prevail? Hear the hosts’ bold playoff calls and divisional X-factors as the race for the NL Central crown heats up." 5. NOTE: Our poster @MudcatsfaninBrunsCO had established a "Warbirds Season Thread" here, written from a local fan perspective. It also included updates on the stadium status. We appreciate that effort, though that thread will be locked at this point and anything specific to the Warbirds outside of actual game action can and will be included here. *** Mudcats' Opening Night is Friday 4/3 - at Fayetteville (Astros). The eventual Wilson formal roster announcement will come directly from the Warbirds, not the Brewers, once the Brewers have given the Warbirds the official go-ahead to do so. Feel free to link to any formal Warbirds notices you see. Sometimes, but not as often as we used to, we learn via player social media, who has been assigned where, prior to the formal affiliate announcements. We'll link to any of those posts in this thread as they come out. As you might know, we use the "Your 2026" team threads to post and link to feature stories, including audio and video, that are outside the scope of game activity covered in the Daily Minor League Link Report. These threads have become among the most popular for viewing here. Please do not speculate on any player releases. Brewers Player Development or MiLB.com will update us formally.
  6. Timber Rattlers' Opening Night is Thursday 4/2 - at home vs. Beloit (Marlins). NOTE: The Rattlers begin a day early as they do not play on Easter Sunday 4/5. 8. Sunday 3/22: VIDEO via Curt Hogg's "Brewer Territory" with Corey Knebel: "From Jake Bauers' loud showing to Jackson Chourio's plate discipline, these are the key takeaways from the Brewers' time in Phoenix. Via the Journal Sentinel Podcast: "We made it! Opening day for the 2026 Milwaukee Brewers season arrives this week, and we've got one last report from Arizona with Journal Sentinel beat writer Curt Hogg, who joins JR Radcliffe to give one last look at the team. Brandon Lockridge's big spring got him a spot. Jake Bauers has been raking. Jacob Misiorowski is the opening-day starter but once again, what is going on with Brandon Woodruff? Andrew Fischer looks like the future. What's the primary opening-day story line in 2026? Who's next up once the Brewers need a player?" Latest Milwaukee Tailgate Podcast - "Paul landed on the IL this week, but Old Friend Steve Garzcynski stepped in for our division by division look at the 2026 MLB season, picks for division winners and wild cards, postseason hardware and a whole bunch of your questions."

  13. Brewers released 20-year-old RHP Alejandro Parra. He was entering his 3rd season as a pro, signed in the final "July" international signing period, 2023, but didn't debut until 2024. The Dominican native only appeared in five games total, all in the Dominican Summer League, three in '24 before an injured list stint ended his season as of June 21st. He returned to make two one-inning starts a week apart in August of 2025. Given that timeline, we can guess on an elbow procedure, but that's purely speculative, perhaps @ARobsBrewCrew is aware of the nature of said injury. Good luck to the young man moving forward.
  14. More from Friday 3/20: VIDEO via Curt Hogg's "Brewer Territory" with Corey Knebel: "With one week until spring training, Curt and Corey break down Brandon Woodruff's outings this spring, Brandon Lockridge making the team and Angel Zerpa's WBC performance."
