  1. I'll be honest, I can't really say I like Hunter Wendlestadt as an umpire.
  2. This has to be due to the uncertainty of Sheets. I expect at least two transactions today or tomorrow. Stetter down for sure and some other combo to activate Gwynn and bring Dillion back up.
  3. That's all he could do with a hanging 3-2 slider? Good effort in the 9th.
  4. I never thought I would say this but Kendall is fast becoming one of my favorite Brewers...Thank you Brandon Phillips!
  5. Kendall has been nothing but impressive so far this season.
  6. Poor communication and defense by the crew in the 2nd inning. Bush didn't help matters by falling behind in the count and being slow to the plate but he did make pitches to get out of the inning with no runs scored.
  7. In case anyone hasn't noticed, the Crew is off to a sizzling start.
  8. I hate to be negative because the Badgers did come back against Michigan State but this one is over.
  9. Holy sloppy by the Badgers in the first half. My guess is there might be a 'discussion' from Bo Ryan about that.
  10. I am actually sort of embarassed to ask this question but where is the best place to download music. We recently purchased a new computer and I can burn CDs. I checked out Walmart.com and they don't have a huge selection. Rhapsody is a little expensive because I bet I won't download more than 50 songs in an entire year. We don't have an IPod. I don't want to download a program that takes up a ton of space on my computer or is illegal. Thanks for any suggestions. I feel like I am behind the times.
  11. I know Gallardo pitched well in Arizona but his last few outings he sure looks to be a pitcher with a "tired arm." His location has not been good.
  12. I hope there is more to the story (something extremely freak) than what the article states because this does not sound good for the police officer(s) and his/her decision.
  13. Hawpe must have pulled an all-nighter last night. Yikes.
  14. Beautiful defense by the Phillies.
  15. I honestly don't know. My anger at how they have been playing lately is saying heck no, but the talent they have, how well they play at home and how the team played earlier in the season tells me yes. They have had too many second half collapes the past few years to happen again. I was at the game Tuesday and many fans near us were bashing the Brewers (hitters and pitchers) and Ned Yost. The team expelled so much energy to win that game. They had so many chances to win the game and didn't take advantage. A playoff team is going to win that game earlier. The Mets had chances too but they were on the road so I believe that is different. Ryan Braun has been our best player for two months and he really showed his youth in the at-bat when he struck out late in the game chasing pitches out of the zone. Young players try to do more than they are capable of. I hope the team gets hot and the young players learn to win because they will get us to the playoffs. It's definitely a tease to all of us when they play well but our best players everyday players are under 25. Long prediction and thoughts, but just what I think as of now. August will tell Brewer fans a lot.
  16. There is no way the Rangers take Gwynn only for Gagne. It would have to include at least another player. My guess another player on the roster (not a pitcher) and a minor league pitching prospect.
  17. It all depends on how hard she would be to track down. If you have her email address or phone number you can always drop a line and say I ran across your email address/number and "haven't heard from you in awhile and just seeing how you have been, etc." However, if it would be hard to track her down, I wouldn't suggest contacting her.
  18. I totally disagree. He's still as good as they come. Does he screw up, yes, but when he retires most will miss him.
  19. I am on Lake Geneva quite a bit during the summer time. It would be awesome to run into him. I wonder if he's a personable guy.
  20. I am sure there are some financial gurus who can give me some help to answer a question that I have. Is there any difference than opening up a Roth through a bank or a company such as Franklin Templeton, WEA Trust, etc? It seems that a Roth at a bank is more of a long term CD, while through an investment company rates of return fluxuate. Am I right? Is one better than the other? Not looking to use the money for awhile just want to invest the money and avoid fees for investing. I have great retirement through work and two 403b's, but no Roth. Amount to invest is around $2,000. I am planning on maximizing my Roth contribution for next year's taxes but it doesn't need to be with the money I have now. Thanks for any help.
  21. Thanks guys! I appreciate the help.
  22. This is a strange question, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to set up an excel formula using a constant percentage. Maybe it's not even possible, but... $21,668 * X% = $100,479 * X% = I want both 21,668 and 100,479 to go up by the same percentage. The numbers are all in different cells. Any ideas would be great as I am almost resorting to drinking.
  23. Yikes...Bush is giving up some missles.
  24. Unbelieveable...she's even fairly good at reporting.
  25. Carlos went in a little wide there. Still a terrible though however.
