I don't really get why you have to take him out once he gets a base runner. Just so he can't get a loss? It's an infield hit. Sheets is still the best pitching option right now.

Sheets threw a lot of curves that inning, and some pretty good ones. I kind of have to wonder why it took until the 5th inning, though. Lowell and Gonzalez just looked terrible.

Second time through the order now. You wouldn't think that Ben would continue to mow them down if he keeps throwing basically nothing but fastballs.

I think he threw one changeup and one so-so curveball in the last inning. He hasn't had a good curve lately, and he would probably throwing more of them if he had a good one today.

Bill says he can't remember the last time the Brewers didn't have any left handed batters in the starting lineup. Apparently he doesn't have any recollection of that game against Santana a couple of weeks ago. But, you know, it's not like anything memorable happened in that game.

Why are we double switching to put Helms in at 3rd?? So what if the pitcher's spot is due up 4th, Santana isn't going to pitch the 9th, why not just pinch hit when the time comes?
