how can you NOT bunt there? I would have preferred a bunt, too. But, its not that much of a stretch not to bunt. Lee is already in scoring position. Billy hits the ball hard most of the time. Anything on the ground works.

Wow... what a play. Bad luck.
  5. bsglorydays
Great. If we score the Mets have Wright leading off again. Who cares, we gotta score first. Would you rather have Wright lead off if we don't score?

    Bunt Billy Bunt.
  7. bsglorydays
    That's a start!
  8. bsglorydays
Here it comes... a 3 HR night for Geoff Jenkins.
  9. bsglorydays
Unbelievable.... That is the 3rd time Beltran has hit a ground ball to Overbay and its the first time they've turned it on Beltran.

This is becoming all too common for Santana lately. Walking leadoff hitters. That spells trouble, especially when the home team is batting in extra innings and you are facing the heart of the order.
  11. bsglorydays
Whoever is coming in... Just get thru the inning and let Carlos and Geoff go to work for you.
  12. bsglorydays
Well, Weeks is there finally. It would have been nice to get him there earlier in the count. Oh well.
  13. bsglorydays
This is the point where speed can really change a game. Run Rickie Run.
  14. bsglorydays
Speed. Enough said. Now use that speed to get in scoring position via a SB.
  15. bsglorydays
Wow, how old is that 1st base ump, 17? And he blew the call, by the way.
  16. bsglorydays
    Swing the bat, Brady.
  17. bsglorydays
Helms with a nice opp field shot. Keep it fair now. Edit: The old Helms showed up tonight.
  18. bsglorydays
Can I come back with Caddyshack 2? Turds, I forgot that one.
  19. bsglorydays
Get the bats moving again. Turnbow was bound to blow one again sooner or later. But, why tonight?

You'll get bashed here for saying that. I have tough skin. I can take it. Possibly the worst movie I've seen in... well, ever. Terrible. Stupid. 90 minutes I can never get back.
  21. bsglorydays
    Scoring position. Ughh.
  22. bsglorydays
Nothing like getting the runner moving in the 9th inning. C'mon DT.
  23. bsglorydays
"Freddy Got Fingered." That movie makes up one-third of the 3 worst movies of all time. The other 2 movies being "Dude, Where's My Car" and "Napoleon Dynamite."
  24. bsglorydays
Throw strikes. Take a couple MPH off if you have to. But, make them put it in play.
  25. bsglorydays
Well, on a positive note, there is time to crack open another beer before this one is over (provided there are no more gopher balls by the time I get to the fridge). Edit: Throw Strikes!
