    No Billy Hall today... I like it. LaRussa has already begun resting his regulars 1 to 2 games per week, which is probably wise with the big lead they have in the NL Central.

    This game is no more of a "must win" than any other, IMO. It sure would be a "feel good win" though. Every game is just as important as any other at this point in the season. I'm looking forward to Jenkins being back in the lineup today. He's had pretty good success vs Marquis, so hopefully that continues today.

    Carlos Lee is the only active Brewer with more than 4 ABs vs. Mulder. Lee is hitting .280 off the lefty. So, its difficult to gauge what kind of offensive success could be expected tonight. Mow 'em down, Ben!

    Well, Mulder is a lefty. So, does Ned use his all-righty lineup? I hope he trots Jenkins out there again tonight. Here's the lineup I'd be using tonight: CF Clark 2B Weeks 3B Hall LF Lee RF Jenkins 1B Helms SS Hardy C Moeller SP Sheets Should Ooooooverbay be in there, too (batting 3rd with Hall 6th)?

    Well, I wasn't able to watch the game at home last night. But, I knew when the game was 4-0 that there would be people saying the game is over and others saying they weren't going to watch the rest of the game etc. I just want to thank everybody who posted in this thread for a great laugh this morning! The first "Game Over" comment actually came when it was 3-0. Last I checked, these games are still 9 innings. Great game! Now Big Ben needs to pitch his back side off tonight.

    Hopefully Davis can put together a solid outing and the Brewers can win this one. That gives the Brewers a great shot at at least a split, with Sheets and Cappy to follow. I don't have a lot of faith in Cappy after his last outing, so I'd love to see the Crew take the next 2.

    Jeff Suppan is easily the most beatable guy in this Cards rotation He's also a soft tosser, which always seems to give the Brewers fits.

    and now is the point in the evening when we all click over to see how Bruan, Nelson Cruz and Fielder are doing.... And we find that Prince is 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored, Cruz is 1 for 3, and Hart is 0 for 3 as Nashville leads Memphis 5-3 in the 5th.

    Carlos is now hitting a robust .115 vs the Cardinals this season. 3 for 3... at least that's one positive today.
