  1. A good throw may have gotten Rickie there... Let's go Carlos, more runs needed.
  2. Probably a good move by the ump. No. You can't warn the Brewers on that one.
  3. The ump warned both dugouts! What the hey was that?? Zambrano did smirk after he beaned Rickie, but to warn both dugouts? That is ridiculous.
  4. Well, all I can say is, I sure am glad we didn't trade Overbay for Vic Zambrano.
  5. Wow, one rally-killing home run after another tonight! Lee, Jenkins, Russ, Damian... unbelievable. Now its Ohka's turn! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smokin.gif
  6. Let's go Russell, get it started again. Ahhhhhh, ask and I shall receive.
  7. Let's go Russell, get it started again.
  8. Wow, I was feeling really really good after the top of the 1st. Now Ohka is about to make me spit up my beer.
  9. Someone please tell T.O. that its okay if he doesn't give away the lead. While you're at it, go ahead and whisper it in Victor's ear, too.
  10. Rickie Weeks turns outs into.... ahhh, nevermind.
  11. Please tell me Ohka is not going to give the lead back here.
  12. Good start, even with Clark getting thrown out.
  13. Well, at least Clark picked the right team to try to steal against. You gotta run against Castro and Piazza, and Zambrano doesn't exactly hold runners, nor does he have a quick move to the plate.
  14. Oh wait Santos is pitching. We lose 2-1 More like 7-1 lately with Santos. No matter what the Brewers did against Pedro last time, they will still have to play very well to win. Certainly not out of the realm of possibilities.
  15. How long will it take Daron to mention Mr Met. Opening comments prior to the first pitch would be my guess. By the 5th inning, Mr. Met will be making an appearance in the booth. Schroeder will look uncomfortable. Daron will be a kid in a candy store.
  16. Days off are rough. Anybody else feel that way? 6 pm cannot get here soon enough.
  17. Great end to this series and this homestand. 4-3 at home this week. Disapointing series overall, but just think--brewers were one Brady Clark catch away from winning the series and being .500. A split is not bad in a 4 game series. That leaves them with a 4-3 homestand. If they keep on winning 4 out of every 7 games the rest of the year (56 games to go), they'll end the season 6 games over .500.
  18. Why Magruder you ask? Well, it actually makes a lot of sense IMO. Here's why: The score is 5-1 with the Brewers ahead, so its not what I would consider to be an "important at bat". In the (unlikely) event that this game ends up going extra innings, now you have Branyan for a much more critical at bat. Durrington could have been used in that situation and I would have applauded that, too. Edit: Mikevan beat me to it.
  19. Prince and Nelson Cruz both hit dingers in game 1 for Nashville.
  20. Is it football season yet? I'm going to pretend you didn't say that. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  21. No Nelson Cruz tonight in game 2 of Nashville's doubleheader. A rest, or an early indication of a transaction? I'm thinking a rest, but I'm hoping its an indication.
