    Well, I like the lineup. IMO, its the best one Milwaukee can run out there right now, minus Damian Miller (and Moeller has shown signs of life with his regular PT).

    Did I hear that right? I was taking the brats off the grill, but through the screen door I swear I heard Daron say that Jose Capellan may also be getting the call. Somebody please correct me.

    Son of a... When I got out of the car, it was 2-0. I came in the house and turned on the TV and its 2-2. Thome with a bomb.

    I hope that's the real lineup. I'm looking forward to Jenks in the 6 hole, where I think he'll be fine - we know what we're going to get out of him, which is a streaky hitter (right now, its a pathetically bad streak). Lyle in the 3 hole is the concern. Hopefully that is the jolt that he needs to get back on track. He can't be any less productive than Jenks has been the last couple of weeks hitting 3rd. I don't think Jenkins will see too many good pitches hitting 6th, but he hasn't been driving good pitches lately anyway. With Hardy and Moeller to follow, there is no reason to pitch to Jenkins. Now that I think about it, with Jenkins following Bill Hall, there is not much reason to give Billy anything to hit either.

    Probably a poor choice in RF. If he lets it drop, one run scores and there are runners on the corners. Of course, its easy to say sitting by my computer watching the game on TV.

    Well bsglory we disagree. Yeah, I'm not opposed to walking Kent early in the game. I just don't like doing it with 2 outs. At some point you have to get the best hitters out. Just a difference in philosophy as you said.

    Well, Kent is not Barry Bonds and there is no point walking him in the first inning with 2 outs, IMO.

    I agree, rluzinski. Cirillo was clearly bunting for a base hit. That was not small ball at play in the 1st.

    He'll replace Spivey, who will be sent packing. Sent packing? This is not the NFL where players can just be dumped. The only way Spivey leaves this team is through trade. Besides, I doubt we will see Weeks until at least mid to late July (see Super 2 arby thread) but that is just my opinion. ------------------ The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

    It's really not that hard to manage a bullpen better than this. Really. It's not. That's why we constantly talk about how it should be done. And we are somehow qualified? We can talk about it all we want, but the fact is, none of us know all the details of every decision that gets made. Its still fun to speculate and have our opinions. But, the bottom line is, Yost and Maddux are a bit more qualified to make those decisions.

    If he hasn't pitched in a week, can you really expect him to be sharp? Inconsistent work is part of every reliever's job description, is it not? By the way, the 3rd base ump just blew that call. Edit: Maybe not. Close.

    Am I counting right... 0 for 7 with RISP. The Crew has one hit with RISP... Victor Santos back in the 3rd.
