    No matter. Hardin gets his 8th and 9th K swinging on fastballst!

    Hardin gets a K and then gives up a double on a liner to left. The runner extended a ball that should've been a single but Black's throw to Leonard was way off-line. If only that kid could be an average defender anywhere.

    Tyler Black swings and misses on a full count cutter and the inning is over. Already 13 left on base for the sounds. Better hope Hardin keeps dealing or they will regret it

    Leonard with grounds softly to third and Jett lines a hanger to left field for a single. He then tags and advances to second on a really aggressive play after Pratt flies out to center. Lara walks for the second time today on a wild pitch that allows Jett to advance to third. Had a scary moment as he fouled a ball into his right foot but was able to walk it off. Not to worry, though, as he stole a base on the first pitch of the next at bat. Adams get hit (again!) in the left arm and Mr. Rick Sweet has left the dugout to talk with the umps Durham goes to the bullpen. Bases loaded, 2 outs, bottom 4.

    Hardin gets old friend Ollie Dunn looking on a pitch on the outside edge. Morgan swings and misses on a high fastball in the zone at 95 and Williams lines one hard but right at Wilken to end the inning. 6 Ks and only 1 hit for Hardin through 4.

Now Quero reaches on a throwing error that the firstbaseman Morgan could not pick and the Sounds extend their lead to 3-0 Badoo (who already homered) is up.

    Love the deal. Low risk at 7/31 and the reward could be massive. Especially with the uncertainty of the new CBA these moves are great. Would love to lock up Made for something similar to Chourio's deal. Payne is now a prime trade candidate methinks.
