  1. It looked like Hart sort of misread that ball, he thought he couldn't get there and was playing for the bounce the whole way but if he had sprinted he could have got there.
  2. "SWEET!!! CONGRATS VERLANDER!" I don't know I can see respecting a great performance and all, but to me it's sort of like being happy for the Cowbows after they beat the Packers to get to the Super Bowl. I guess I can only be happy for another player/teams performance if it DOESN"T HAPPEN AT THE EXPENSE OF MY FAVORITE TEAM!!!!! ARRRRGGGHHH!!! I hate Justin Verlander and hope he never wins another game.
  3. I think I am going to throw up, after Saturday night I thought no way can it get bad enough that I lose sleep again over these clowns. Something about being no hit is as rock bottom as it gets to me. Maybe I just need to stop watching these guys for awhile. Is it time for training camp yet?
  4. It is just getting predictable, this team is just incapable of becoming more than just a .500 team. I am not talking about getting over .500 but just the fact that they do not finish off sweeps, blow games they should win, play inconsistent offense, crappy defense,etc.. I am really starting to believe they should recognise the obvious and deal Lee.Why wait to see how things develop, we have been the same freaking win one lose one team for the last season and a half.
  5. Is it just me or do the Brewers get hurt by pitchers batting more than anyone else? I suppose it's just that you always remember it when it happens. Crap
  6. For all the good things about this hot start, it seems we still have our same old problems with RISP. What is it with these guys? This has been going on for 3 years
  7. Well to be honest I pretty much gave up on this one when the Pirates got the 5 in the seventh. You could feel the loss coming then. Someone else brought up how the Pirates always stick a fork in us and I agree, I fear this one may send us on a losing spell that will have us talking trades in a week or 2. It's just sooooo frustrating to see this team come so close to turning the corner and then take a setback like this. I know it's one game and crap happens but this team seems to endlessly be stuck in mediocrity, when we have guys step up someone else ALWAYS steps back.
  8. And before I forget, we got screwed by the ump in the ninth, Jenks should have walked and Miller got a terrible call on the second strike putting him in the hole.
  9. Nice, somehow the Brewers manage to make it hurt even worse in the ninth.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  10. Lowest point of the season for me right now. I was excited to get to watch the Brewers for a couple of games in Miami this week but now I think I'll just catch the games on TV. This team is so depressing, every time we think they are turning the corner this crap happens, I have no doubt they will now get swept by the Marlins after this debacle. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
  11. According to ESPN right now we scored -1 runs in the 6th. sports.espn.go.com/mlb/scoreboard What's sad is it's almost believable.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
  12. While I know the numbers show improvement everytime I see the Brewers this year it looks like the same inept offense that I saw last year. Sheets has only himself to blame but Suppan isn't all that and we look like such easy roadkill at the plate.
  13. That's it, this one just wasn't meant to be for the Brewers. 3 balls fall about 2 feet short of HR and Hardy got robbed by Wilson. dammit
  14. "This is looking just like last year's team, good pitching, but not much hitting. 0 for 3 with runners in scoring position and about a .200 average with runners in scoring position this year. Hopefully the Brewers will be able to do something in the last few innings." I was about to post the same thing. Some new players but at times they struggle to get runs in. Redman had throw about 70 pitches before getting hit, I thought we were going to try to work deeper in the count this year?
  15. I hate to complain but 12 strikeouts for Spivey already? Sheesh I don't even want to what sort of pace he is on.
  16. Well you could see that coming, even the Pitt announcers were commenting on how Glover was looking ripe to get hammered. Looks like we are going to have to get to their bullpen tonight. Too bad the hitting has gone into a shell since the first, Glover just isn't good enough to win a low scoring game like this.
  17. Big strikout there but you have to wonder why a guy like Glover gets the nod over a highly touted prospect like De La Rosa.
