  1. Yeah this one is cooked. I just don't understand Pat Murphy sometimes.
  2. Mitchell's reaction after the final out tells me they really needed that one.
  3. I was okay with seeing if you could steal an inning, but someone needed to be up and ready in the pen. After the leadoff guy got on he should have hooked him.
  4. Murphy is too busy writing sonnets about Yeli to manage this game, apparently.
  5. Yep. I'll honestly be surprised if the Brewers can hold them off for the Central. Having guys who can mash saves so much stress on the pitching, we don't have that luxury.
  6. We've lived through collapses in '07, '14, and '22. Heck, 2008 too until the late resurgence. I don't blame anyone here if some of that scar tissue is still there, and this lead feels smaller. Same thing when we see the offense sputter. That has ended a few recent seasons, doesn't surprise me to see it provoke a reaction.
  7. Yup. Credit to them, they are going for it. Meanwhile, I'll take another bite of my apple.
  8. https://x.com/i/status/2084083044026036436
  9. From the first inning it felt like one of those days where they're just not at the races mentally.
  10. Can't help but think there's a load management IL stint coming for Miz.
  11. PCA two run homer in the 10th. Division lead is gonna be down to 5.
  12. Exactly. Maybe waking up Friday with the division lead down to 4.5 will shake em up a bit.
  13. I was there today and it was a full house, I don't think 39K was that far off. It was hot and humid even in the shade without much of a breeze, so all the areas with AC were crowded.
  14. At what point will our guys learn how to call a ball in the field? Drohan throwing BP now. Lovely.
  15. A lot of traffic allowed, but Wilson giving up only one over four innings is big. Kept the faint hopes alive and saves the pen for tomorrow.
