So annoyed by that second inning still. All Willy has to do is make a routine throw. Spotting this team two runs is asking for an L.

One minute he's calling out their approaches at the plate, and saying they're overwhelmed by the moment. The next is this. Pat's a great vibes guy but I don't know if he's built for the big chair long term. The in-game management kinda stinks, and he spends a lot of time calling the guys out while taking little accountability himself. In basketball, I've heard coaches say there's no such thing as a half-shot. It's either going in or it's not, so eff it, let it fly. I'd like to see this group take that approach more, especially against LA. They're way too tight.

I saw that Dunn had the fastest bat speed and I thought it made sense, since the ball sure wasn't getting in the way.

I'm almost exclusively a shuttle user now, unless I take one of my kids to a game and need that flexibility of being able to bounce early. I'd rather spend $20 on a couple beers and an app than a place to put my car.

I've been kicked in the balls so many times by this team that I'm pretty much numb to it. Although they did manage to find a small part of a testicle that hadn't been kicked and took care of that with the way they lost on Tuesday. Like a blow to the groin, it hurts like a MFer for a bit but subsides. I woke up this morning with my normal octave range and no pain.

Hope another organization thinks they can fix him? I don't know if there will be room for him when Mitchell is healthy and Chourio comes up. He's so broken at the plate, It's tough to watch... he has no chance with that pre-swing drop of the hands. -
The point is to stand up for your guys. They're hanging on by a thread right now. Division lead will probably be down to a game by tomorrow night. Anything that could galvanize them is worth a shot.

Just can't help themselves against bad teams. Since the Cubs are apparently never gonna lose again let's get this over with so they can't celebrate the division on our field.

This move is fine. So was Santana. Frankly, it's the type of move they should be making now. The lineup needs an offseason to fix. Going all in with this group makes no sense. Make some improvements on the margins and see what happens. I'm far more interested to see what direction they go this offseason.

This is it right here. And they're so scared now by the backlash to the Hader deal, they won't dare do it again. It's really frustrating... they pissed away the end of this window by being cheap now they won't deal their most valuable assets to soften the rebuild. All to chase 85 wins and a first round exit.

Is anyone getting a "You are not entitled to this content" error message on the Bally app? Been getting it across devices. Going thru DirecTV credentials.

Has anyone used a resume writing service, and if so, was it worth it? It's almost like admitting defeat for me... I've been in recruitment for 10 years. I know a good resume when I see it, and I thought mine was. But I'm getting passed over for roles I'm qualified for, and I'm thinking it might be that my resume doesn't adequately show the scope and depth of my experience. Maybe I need a fresh set of eyes. Also, anyone looking to hire a TA Manager who is sick of dealing with recruiting technical talent in this market?

It would, but it's not as bad of a delay. The latency on YTTV is about 35 seconds, I have seen similar for ATT.

For the Roku users... if they do pull YTTV support, chances are the current version of the app will still work. Spectrum went through this too, and people were still able to use the app. Just don't delete it. I'm still kicking around the idea of ATT TV or going back to cable. Being a minute-plus behind on the Bally app takes some of the enjoyment out of it for me.

This might be a stupid question... assuming the games are carried on a streaming app, knowing there's a delay from live action, how do you effectively integrate in-game betting as part of it? Regardless, I have YTTV and really hope they work a deal out before the Bucks start up. I love the platform and would hate to give it up for ATT Now or cable.

When we sold our place this summer I decided to dump Spectrum. TV/Internet was over $180/mo. Went with YouTube TV, and it has worked out well. Has all the sports, and major channels, the only one I miss at times is Comedy Central. Saving $65/mo. The only tough adjustment was keeping the phone away during live sporting events. That 30 second delay gets ya.

When I recruited I used it heavily, especially since a lot of the resumes we had on file were horribly out of date. If there's a specific field/company you're looking into, search for their recruiters and connect with them.

I worked for one of their companies and this is dead on accurate. They are all about the bottom line profit and if that isn't there, you're judged solely on how many calls you make. People are commodities to them, which is a large part of the reason you won't get a call back. I'd certainly go through other staffing companies, as there are a ton out there. I've had good responsiveness from QPS in particular.
