  1. Some aspects of competitive ball change as we age. The wheels aren't spinning like they used to. Our roles change and evolve in the midst of aging. Yelich has a manager who understands aging better than most since he lives it. I am certain there are quiet behind the scenes conversations to address these realities. His role on the team may be changing but not his place on the team. Milwaukee is fortunate to have someone like Yelich on the field at times and in the clubhouse always.
  2. Amazing how wonderful it is to be a part of the Milwaukee Brewer fanbase. Years and years adding up to a decade of superb baseball especially in the Murphy years. Trusting Matt Arnold and his savants that a plan is underway to solidify the areas of need in the pitching department. Grateful to see Joey Ortiz OWNING third base now. Has there ever been a better time to be a fan? Especially in light of what could lie ahead with the riches of their minor league system.
  3. Interesting but doesn't seem like it represents the present thinking of the front office. IMHO
  4. Nice article. He has been good , and might I add really good sometimes for the first 3 -4 innings of the game. Then he unravels and flys off in his magic carpet to the land of crap. Pump the brakes is my view.
  5. Greatly enjoyed the article Matty! Especially resonate with your statement: "The 2026 Cardinals aren't the 2025 Brewers; those Brewers were better. The 2026 Brewers aren't the 2025 Cubs; these Brewers are better." Couldn't agree with you more.
  6. It just looks like he has got the "it" factor. The "It" will keep on growing.
  7. Joey Tito Ortiz will be a fine platoon at third with Hamilton. Glad Renhifo is no longer in the picture. Gladly take Ortiz's defense over Renhifo. If only Joey could hit 240!
  8. Really like this move. Bring up Cooper and either DFA or trade Renhifo. The trade deadline is 6 weeks away. Let him settle in. Focus on a reliever and 3rd baseman at the trade deadline.
  9. Instead of getting rid of some prospects I would strongly prefer bringing them up and allowing them to play. Get rid of Renhifo and bring up a prospect or two.
  10. Thanks for the interesting article. Filled with much imagination. I would just say pump the brakes until Brandon Woodruff returns. Let's see how his rehab goes. Getting sooner.
  11. Seems like a foregone conclusion that they will be trading for some relief pitching while also bring up Jett Williams. Renghifo is a sore thumb in an infield full of defensive gems. His double hitches on throwing across the diamond are irksome. Trade Mitchell for a bullpen arm not a bullpen rental.
  12. Mitchell is not spelled "MITT"chel lately. Your videos display more of his tentativeness. MLB is a tough way to make a living. His defense could overcome some of his hitting deficiencies. Now both aren't as strong as they have been. Getting the feeling he will be included in a trade at the trade deadline. Got to start playing some of these minor league savants like Luis Lara and Jet Williams. Trade Mitchell for relief pitching.
  13. His running from first to third after the pitcher thru the ball past the first baseman was incredible to watch. What would it be to run like that? I know what it means to run like Gary Sanchez but Hamilton is just electric.
  14. thanks for the info. That helps.... 2032 is a long time away.
