    wow, Jenkins' flu-bug must be a bad one, he's had that for days now... well, this is Magruder's chance, hopefully he'll step up, otherwise the 2nd half of our lineup is a little scary

    yep, I care...looking forward to it. I'll be listening on the radio to the game and cheering 'em on... (tough to be in WI even w/the Extra Innings package and have the game blacked out, it would be nice hearing Vin Scully do a Brewers game, but I digress) this team is bound to get things turned around soon enough, might as well be today. I think the late rally last night was a sign that the Crew's bats are waking up...

    Mainly just the lack of catcher prospects in the system right now? It is a position they need to address for the future, I don't see Moeller and Miller being around in 2008 (maybe even '07)

    whew this has been a rough patch early. A 4 game losing streak right before a road trip. A lot of combinations working against us: Lee in a slump to coincide with Jenkins out sick and Branyan hurt on the plus side Spivey hit the ball real well and it was good to see that comeback to get us to 4-3 have heart folks, they'll turn this around

    I'm looking for Carlos Lee to get his bat hot again. (Or at the very least start taking sliders that are a foot outside of the plate instead of striking out on them... Lord knows thats all he's gonna see after that Cardinals series on 2 strike pitches until he gets his plate discipline together again)

    I've been generally impressed with Capuano this year and will look forward to seeing him pitch tonight... Lee is bound to get out of his slump soon enough, might as well be tonight (making a mental note to stay at the Pfister sometime)

    I'm liking the fact that Rogers struck out 6 in 4 innings. The kids got mega-potential meanwhile, in AAA: has Fielder always been a streaky type hitter? (noting he's batting .175, although he does have 2 HR's)
