Well if we re-sign Carlos Lee we'll need to keep in mind in the year 2013 that aging corner outfielders can be a detriment defensively http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

hindsight is 20/20, but yeah I wouldn't have had Hall bunting... then again I don't have the credential to manage a Little League team

I'm hoping will see Gabe Gross in Center vs the righty, batting 7th

"how 'bout that one folks!" It's always fun listening to Uecker... way to go Damian... 3-0

Clark CF Hardy SS Jenkins RF Lee LF Fielder 1B Hall 3B Weeks 2B Miller C is my favorite batting order so far (as long as we get Gross vs righties until he cools off!)

Future superstars strike-out back to back... Growing Pains... I'm willing to wait through this to see the Promised Land of the future...

Bill Hall loves the Reds.. Rickie's turn

Well, Scotty Po has one more World Series ring than Carlos does... j/k, that was a great trade too...

Spivey for Ohka was one helluva deal, too... essentially we traded Wes Obermueller for Capellan and rented Kolb to the Braves for the worst year of his career. Not bad http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Not to be overly optimistic or anything after another disappointing game but the Crew is losing aLOT of close games... being a "glass half full" kinda person, I see that as a young team thats getting better and is about to make a step in the right direction

yeah its on TV locally in Chicago, but not on WGN...its on MLB Extra Innings, which I have, but I live in Wisconsin, so its blacked out for me.... looks like Uecker and Powell on the radio for this kid

Doug Davis pitched well enough to win with 9 K's and only giving up 2 runs... I have to really question pinch hitting Trent Durrington instead of Prince Fielder with nobody out and men on 1st and 2nd... going small ball there instead of letting Prince mash Starting Helms at 3rd is what I would have done too, but the fact remains that Wes hits much better against lefties than righties Mainly, Carlos Zambrano was on top of his game, and when you combine an error or two with some poor baserunning and a questionable coaching move, you are going to chalk up an L

Oh, I was (I'm 39 years old)... thats why I said that tonight was ONE OF my favorite games of all-time... CONSIDERING the last 12 seasons, and which players had their first career HR's tonight, and the fact that the Twinkies were up early with a fomer Cy Young winner on the mound, that was one helluva game!
  22. AJ Love
that was one of my favorite baseball games of All-Time. Great win!

You are correct, Brian... I was posting in haste... meant to write: If Hall keeps playing like this, I hope the Brewers sign him longterm when the time comes, i.e. I hope he's a Brewer for many years to come
  24. AJ Love
what a great game! wow! Bill Hall is the man... I hope Yost keeps Hall hitting in the 3 spot, and I hope Melvin signs Hall longterm
  25. AJ Love
well that was a fun game tonight... very cool. hopefully this means that the very streaky Brewers are about to get very hot
