I'll never forget that game last year when Pham was with the White Sox and he was thrown out at home. He didn't like Contreras celebration and there was a brief verbal and posing exchange. When he got his glove to go out to CF he shadowboxed his way out to his position. Weirdest thing I've ever seen and MLB player do.. -

Skenes frustration isn't demonstrative, but it's still palpable.

Turang hits the most majestic bombs of anyone on this team. Starting to wonder if he's unlocking something he can sustain on that front.

BTW, absolutely love the Pirates "Cobra" patch. Always loved Parker even before he played for Milwaukee for 4 months.

Out most the night until a few minutes ago. Delighted to see they managed to do with this game what they needed to keep the preferred relievers (or most of them anyway) for the tougher pitching matchups the rest of the series. No great insight but man this team is fun to watch, to the point where I'm annoyed lately when I have other commitments and end up missing most or all of a game.
