They said he might be ready when he is eligible to come off the IL next week or shortly thereafter. Fingers crossed. We need him ... like he played in 2020
-
My guess at the lineup Wong 2B Adames SS Yelich LF Garcia RF Taylor CF Urias 3B Huira 1B Pina C But I'd rather see Tellez at 1B. Keston can go down when Cain comes back in PIT
-
Adames and Urias have each had a couple of pretty defensive plays tonight
-
This is like Five Guys, where you place an order for fries and they just dump them into the bag. +1
-
Dudes gotta turn over in the tanning booth instead of passing out. He's a little pastey on the back side
-
Here's the La Russa tantrum
-
Ha, Bummer cant find the zone
-
Wong! Now someone get him in. Man, he just poked that slider out there
-
Bummers slider is wicked
-
I'm surprised the TV crew isn't showing La Russa more. In the Cardinal days, it seems like he was constantly on camera... doing his voodoo
-
Its a Rowdy night
-
Admirable how much of the CHW is homegrown talent
-
I can't blame CC for batting Jace there. Seemed like the right spot. I just hope we don't miss him later.
-
I bet Rowdy wants that first patch back
-
Giolito has reverse splits Ah, thanks. Well, here's to improving on our 2-7 vs AL record
-
Not as many lefties in the lineup tonight
-
I used to think the Wild was a bad name, but it's grown on me along with the logo. Now it seems as natural as the North Stars did. Speaking of hockey, it can't be long until the Blackhawks change their name. I'm putting my money on the Hawks. They're already telegraphed it with their mascot. It's not an Indian, it's a black hawk. They're walking slowly towards this move and letting it grow on the fans, I think.

Probably too late to post this, but this game is free on MLB TV tonight. 3-2 STL in the T8th

billy mckinney appreciation thread; traded to mets 25 may
JET15 replied to djoctagone's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Billy is now a Dodger in exchange for minor league outfielder Carlos Rincon. https://www.mlb.com/news/billy-mckinney-traded-to-dodgers-from-mets -
Looks about right, but it's too bad that we have to sit Peterson vs the LHP (.318). And I thought Tellez had better splits vs LHPs. Rowdy is 261 vs LHP and Keston is 109 vs LHP. When I first saw this game I thought we were in KC and needed a DH. The bench just doesn't have many good options for that. I also noticed Reviewing the Brew had an article listing a bat off the bench as the #3 need. (Edit: Corrected. Thanks, SixtoFan)

CC looks as stressed with an 8 run lead as he does in an 8 run hole
-
Urias is psychic on that over throw
-
Burnes must really want this. I can't imagine CC does
