  1. I don't get the swing with no strikes and the bunt with one strike.
  2. Three guys on the bench will make you do that.
  3. I like the result, but the pitch count isn't right.
  4. I'm getting worried about the pitch count. Yo's over 110 both of his starts.
  5. That was a helluva play by Kendall!
  6. The end is near for Yovani. 105 pitches.
  7. Gallardo sure is getting the Sheets treatment for run support in his first two starts.
  8. They are just so so so slightly off against Olsen. A bunt there wouldn't have been a terrible idea with Cantu's terrible defense at third. Nice job by Kapler getting a piece of that ball on the hit and run. Walking Braun to get to Fielder? In the words of George Takei... oh, my.
  9. Fielder has been slightly better this year on D. So far he's 20th of 29 eligible first basemen in RZR and in the middle tier of out of zone plays. I have issues with how he picks balls in the dirt, but statistically things are on the up and up.
  10. http://www.nashvillesounds.com/news/news.asp?newsId=2658 OMAHA - Friday night's game between the Nashville Sounds and Omaha Royals, scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at Rosenblatt Stadium, has been postponed due to cold and wind. The two teams will make up the postponed game by playing a doubleheader when Nashville visits Omaha in July. They will meet in a pair of seven-inning games on Tuesday, July 8th, with the first pitch of the opener scheduled for 5:05 p.m. The teams will continue their current series with Saturday's 7:05 p.m. meeting. Nashville left-hander Zach Jackson (1-3, 7.04) will take the hill to face Omaha right-hander Matt Wright (0-1, 5.14).
  11. Olsen has 49 pitches thrown through 5 innings. Amongst other things, we're not working the count well.
  12. Without getting into the ins and outs of the legality of marijuana, if you're under contract for millions of dollars, why are you admitting it/doing it?
  13. "Thanks a lot Trenni, lookin' forward to that day..." Hah @ BA.
  14. I agree. The over-aggressiveness of the Marlins are what's keeping them down.
  15. Alright, let's hit 3 balls hard that don't find Marlins.
  16. I've put on my new Brewers visor for this AB against Ramirez. Edit: I'm not sure if that was lucky or not. Edit 2: Apparently yes!
  17. I blame his vegetarian lifestyle on that error. Backing up to last inning (I'm following on Gameday/watching a movie), by the comment about the 3B ump, can I assume Braun was safe? I think he was.
  18. I'll be honest, I can say I think Hunter Wendlestadt has it in for the Brewers.
  19. That was a nice throw on an offspeed pitch.
  20. That was horse crap! He was pushed off of the base, if he was even off.
  21. Ouch. Fielder hits balls hard backwards.
  22. Hall's been almost exactly average so far at third, and Braun's been slightly above average in left. Guess this is working out okay afterall!
  23. Hall has almost expelled the third base demons from last year.
