  1. AZL Brewers 4, AZL Rangers 3 (11 innings) AZL Brewers Boxscore The Brewers got a late run, and then held on in extra innings to win their third game in a row. Offense at the top of the order was scant, with the first five slots combining to go 2-23. Brent Diaz was the only member of the lineup to get two hits, one of which was a double. Personal favorite Rob Henry added a triple, a sac fly, and a sac bunt. Austin Rubick started and pitched a career-high five innings. He was effective, if not dominant, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks, to go along with 3 Ks. A trio of UDFAs - Tyler Thorne, Kody Rock and Kadon Simmons - covered the final six innings, allowing only an unearned run. Stanford alum Tyler Thorne has been particularly impressive during his AZL tenure, striking out 24 against 4 walks over 24 2/3 innings pitched. AZL Brewers Game Log FTW: AZL Brewers Top of the 11th Pitching Change: Ricky Vanasco replaces Greidy Martinez. Jean Carmona starts inning at 2nd base. Ernesto Wilson Martinez called out on strikes. Julian Jarrard singles on a line drive to right fielder Justin Jacobs. Jean Carmona scores. Offensive Substitution: Pinch-runner Francisco Thomas replaces Julian Jarrard. Julio Mendez pops out to shortstop Yonny Hernandez. Brent Diaz strikes out swinging. AZL Rangers Bottom of the 11th Francisco Thomas remains in the game as the designated hitter. Pitching Change: Kadon Simmons replaces Kody Rock. Stephen Lohr starts inning at 2nd base. Offensive Substitution: Pinch-runner Juan Almonte replaces Stephen Lohr. Sam Huff flies out to center fielder Robert Henry. Juan Almonte to 3rd. Kobie Taylor strikes out swinging. Obie Ricumstrict strikes out swinging.
  2. Susac has had ongoing trap and headache issues this year. He's a talented player. He also can be optioned next year, which makes him valuable as a 2nd/3rd catcher. I don't think the Brewers would just release him. He's worth something to somebody. He's also still worth something to the Brewers.
  3. I'd have to look for the tweet, but Bill Mitchell made an Orlando Arcia comp for Carmona.
  4. DSL Brewers Co-op 6, DSL Pirates 2 DSL Brewers Co-op Boxscore Yorki Franco and Luis Avila both had two hits and a walk to lead the Brewers' contingent in the win for the co-op squad. The 18 year old Franco is someone you'll probably see in the AZL next year, going by his very respectable .287/.333/.385 DSL slash. Bryan Dimas stole his 18th base on the year despite a .163 batting average. Safe to assume he's pretty fast. Two Brewers pitchers combined for 5 walks and no strikeouts, but also only one run allowed in 7 innings of work. Henry Medina walked one in said 7 innings, allowing said run on 4 hits. Daniel Acosta, who in his second DSL season could charitably be described as having control problems, walked 4 batters without recording an out in his 4 batters of work. DSL Brewers Co-op Game Log Big fifth inning: DSL Indians/Brewers Bottom of the 5th Pitching Change: Luis Diaz replaces Osvaldo Bido. Gaspar Palacio strikes out swinging, catcher Ruben Gonzalez to first baseman Matthew Mercedes. Bryan Dimas singles on a ground ball to third baseman Williams Calderon. With Luis Avila batting, wild pitch by Luis Diaz, Bryan Dimas to 2nd. With Luis Avila batting, Bryan Dimas steals (18) 3rd base. Luis Avila walks. With Makesiondon Kelkboom batting, wild pitch by Luis Diaz, Bryan Dimas scores. Luis Avila to 2nd. Makesiondon Kelkboom doubles (7) on a ground ball to left fielder Emison Soto. Luis Avila scores. Micael Ramirez grounds out, second baseman Ivan Rosario to first baseman Matthew Mercedes. Makesiondon Kelkboom to 3rd. Javier Castillo walks. Edwin Sano walks. Javier Castillo to 2nd. Pitching Change: Saul De La Cruz replaces Luis Diaz. Yorki Franco doubles (10) on a ground ball to right fielder Carlos Garcia. Makesiondon Kelkboom scores. Javier Castillo scores. Edwin Sano to 3rd. Offensive Substitution: Pinch-runner Antonio Perez replaces Yorki Franco. Derian Perez pops out to shortstop Francisco Acuna.
  5. DSL Cubs2 7, DSL Brewers 4 DSL Brewers Boxscore Pablo Abreu and Anderson Melendez each had two singles and the Brewers jumped out to a 3-0 1st inning lead, but the pitching was not up to the task. The normally solid Freisis Adames was not that in Saturday's game, allowing 6 runs (4 earned) on 4 hits and 4 walks over 3 innings of work. DSL Brewers Game Log The early lead that did not hold up: DSL Brewers Top of the 1st Anderson Melendez lines out to center fielder Ricardo Verenzuela. Victor Maria reaches on a throwing error by shortstop Josue Huma. Pablo Abreu singles on a line drive to left fielder Carmelo Alfonzo. Victor Maria to 2nd. Aaron Familia singles on a line drive to center fielder Ricardo Verenzuela. Victor Maria scores. Pablo Abreu scores. Aaron Familia to 2nd. Throwing error by center fielder Ricardo Verenzuela. Luis Avalo reaches on a fielding error by first baseman Raymond Pena. Aaron Familia scores. Roberto Molina singles on a line drive to right fielder Luis Ubiera. Luis Avalo out at 3rd on the throw, right fielder Luis Ubiera to third baseman Ignacio Otano. With Luis Valdez batting, wild pitch by Didier Vargas, Roberto Molina to 2nd. Luis Valdez grounds out, third baseman Ignacio Otano to first baseman Raymond Pena. Yes, that is former Brewer farmhand Ignacio Otano.
  6. AZL Brewers 5, AZL White Sox 1 AZL Brewers Boxscore Adrian Houser's road back to full season ball passed another test with perfect 2 inning out, including 4 strikeouts. He's struck out 16 in 8 2/3 innings in Arizona. By first-hand accounts, his stuff certainly appears to be back. And Christian Taugner continued to soak up innings for the Baby Brewers, working a professional-best 5 innings in Saturday night's game in relief of Houser. He allowed a run on 4 hits, walked no one, and got 5 Ks. Yeison Coca lead the offense with 3 hits, including a double. Jesus Lujano smacked two doubles of his own, and Rob Henry had a double and a walk. AZL Brewers Game Log All the offense the offense would need: AZL Brewers Bottom of the 5th Robert Henry doubles (4) on a ground ball to left fielder Alex Destino. Je'Von Ward grounds out, second baseman Lenyn Sosa to first baseman Michael Hickman. Robert Henry to 3rd. Yeison Coca doubles (3) on a fly ball to left fielder Alex Destino. Robert Henry scores. Jesus Lujano doubles (6) on a fly ball to center fielder Jose Garcia. Yeison Coca scores. Jean Carmona reaches on a fielder's choice out, third baseman Ramon Beltre unassisted. Jesus Lujano out at 3rd. Jean Carmona advances to 2nd, on a throwing error by third baseman Ramon Beltre. With Pat McInerney batting, Jean Carmona steals (1) 3rd base. Pat McInerney singles on a pop up to shortstop Laz Rivera. Jean Carmona scores. Pitching Change: Anthony Herron, Jr. replaces John Parke. Julian Jarrard pops out to catcher Jhoandro Alfaro in foul territory.
  7. DSL Brewers Co-op 5, DSL Pirates 1 DSL Brewers Co-op Boxscore Brewers batters accounted for one of the team's five hits and two of the team's five walks. Javier Castillo, three year DSL vet, is quietly hitting .309 this year and hit his 4th double. Luis Avila, he of a career .012 ISO, walked and nabbed three stolen bases. Two Brewers pitchers, Juan Gomez and Jose Alberro, held the Pirates to one run though they both walked as many as they struck out. DSL Brewers Co-op Game Log It makes me sad that Makesiondon Kelkboom is not our guy/A Very DSL Inning: SL Indians/Brewers Top of the 5th Pitching Change: Kleiner Machado replaces Santiago Florez. Luis De La Rosa walks. With Gaspar Palacio batting, throwing error by Kleiner Machado on the pickoff attempt, Luis De La Rosa to 2nd. Gaspar Palacio pops out to first baseman Matthew Mercedes. Antonio Perez flies out to right fielder Larry Alcime. Luis Avila reaches on a throwing error by third baseman Ronaldo Paulino. Luis De La Rosa scores. With Makesiondon Kelkboom batting, Luis Avila steals (12) 2nd base. With Makesiondon Kelkboom batting, Luis Avila steals (13) 3rd base. Makesiondon Kelkboom walks. Micael Ramirez triples (1) on a line drive to right fielder Larry Alcime. Luis Avila scores. Makesiondon Kelkboom scores. Pablo Jimenez strikes out swinging.
  8. DSL Cubs2 2, DSL Brewers 0 DSL Brewers Boxscore The Brewers' offense managed to be hit by more pitches (2) than get hits (1). Luis Avalo's 7th inning single saved the team from being on the wrong side of a headline. Just-turned 17 year old Michele Vassalotti turned in another fine outing, working 5 innings while allowing 2 runs on 3 hits, while striking out 4. Jenri Montas and Oscar Brito kept the Cubs at bay for the final 4 innings. DSL Brewers Game Log The offense: DSL Brewers Bottom of the 7th Aaron Familia grounds out, first baseman Raymond Pena to pitcher Jesus Tejada. Pablo Abreu grounds out, third baseman Ignacio Otano to first baseman Raymond Pena. Luis Avalo singles on a line drive to left fielder Carmelo Alfonzo. Victor Maria flies out to left fielder Carmelo Alfonzo.
  9. AZL Brewers 6, AZL Athletics 4 AZL Brewers Boxscore The most notable part of this win was the debut of 2nd round pick Caden Lemons. It was an efficient debut, with two fly ball outs and one ground ball out in his inning pitched. Phil Bickford pitched 3 more innings as he ramps up to perhaps join Carolina or Biloxi for the last few weeks of the season. Young lefties Brendan Murphy and Karlos Morales pitched as well. Jon Olczak, rehabbing with the AZL team, left the game after one batter, deemed to be an "injured shoulder" by the game log stringer. Pat McInerney and Brent Diaz both notched two hits. Both of McInerney's hits were doubles, as was one of Diaz's. Jean Carmona got his first stateside hit, a triple. Je'Von Ward joined the extra base fun as well, with a double. Rob Henry had a hit, walked twice, and stole two bases (his 14th and 15th). 5th round pick Nick Egnatuk returned to the field for the first time since July 31st after leaving that game with an injury. AZL Brewers Game Log Big inning, except for Egnatuk: AZL Brewers Top of the 2nd Nick Egnatuk grounds out, shortstop Nick Allen to first baseman Chris Iriart. Brent Diaz doubles (4) on a line drive to left fielder Lazaro Armenteros. Robert Henry singles on a ground ball to left fielder Lazaro Armenteros. Brent Diaz to 3rd. With Je'Von Ward batting, Brent Diaz steals (3) home. Robert Henry steals (14) 2nd base. Robert Henry advances to 3rd. Throwing error by shortstop Nick Allen. Je'Von Ward doubles (4) on a fly ball to center fielder Jeramiah McCray. Robert Henry scores. Jean Carmona triples (1) on a fly ball to center fielder Jeramiah McCray. Je'Von Ward scores. Yeison Coca singles on a fly ball to left fielder Lazaro Armenteros. Jean Carmona scores. Jesus Lujano called out on strikes. Pitching Change: Jose Mora replaces Osvaldo Berrios. With Pat McInerney batting, Yeison Coca steals (5) 2nd base. Pat McInerney doubles (16) on a fly ball to center fielder Jeramiah McCray. Yeison Coca scores. Ernesto Wilson Martinez walks. Nick Egnatuk flies out to left fielder Lazaro Armenteros.
  10. Bickford FB 91-93 tonight. As I said, no need to worry about his velocity.
  11. No doubt he has been productive on the whole, but with Broxton it's more complicated than that. As an acquiring team, you're going to have to be comfortable knowing that for extended periods of time, he has shown to be almost completely worthless at the plate. It's not ebb and flow with Broxton, it's flood or drought. His volatility devalues him. To what degree is up for debate. I just don't think a team gunning for the playoffs is going to be comfortable with the prolonged lack of production as a primary outfield piece. Edit: Forgot to note, he'll be 28 for next season, which is about the age a player's speed starts showing increasingly diminished returns in general. Might not happen to Broxton, but it's another consideration when working out his value.
  12. Santana is so frustrating to watch on defense because he has pretty good foot speed and a very, very good arm. He just gets profoundly awful breaks on the ball. I think he has a lot more value on an AL club that can DH him and only use him in the field occasionally. If the Brewers can get value back for him, I think they can fill a hole on defense and have a fighting chance to maintain decent production in RF with the assortment of other OFs available to them in the organization. I am dubious about Broxton's trade value. Yes, when he makes contact the ball just launches off of his bat like few others. He also plays excellent defense most of the time. And plus speed on the basepaths. The big caveats are obviously that contact continues to be an issue and the defense mysteriously seems to take a few days off every month. Both of those things, but the inability to make contact especially, just kill his value. I don't know that any other team would trade for him specifically to be their starter, and how much trade value do 4th OFers typically have? So I hope the Brewers hang on to him as a fill-in outfielder once Brinson and/or Phillips are ready for full time MLB work. I don't know that what you could get back for him would be worth giving up on the value he can provide in Milwaukee.
  13. DSL Brewers Co-op 8, DSL Rays2 4 DSL Brewers Co-op Boxscore Let's talk about Bryan Torres. The 20 year old Puerto Rican catcher is a bit old for DSL ball. But he has been superb this year, his third in the league. The lefty-swinging backstop sports a .313/.399/.398 slash. The slugging may not seem extraordinary, but keep in mind that DSL league slugging hovers around the .085 ISO mark. So he's hitting for league average power while striking out - get this - 6 times in his 149 plate appearances this year. Six. That works out to a 4% K rate. Through 346 pro PAs, he has a 6.4% K rate. That's insane. He's not a slash and dash hitter either, as his 11.8% career walk rate attests to. Good fly ball rate at 34.1% this year. Uses all fields as he pulls the ball only 40.8% of the time. Oh, and on defense, Torres has thrown out 46% of potential base stealers. He's even shown some positional versatility, playing first, second, and third. Stats aren't everything and there may well be some quirks about his game that prohibit him from being a prospect but man, Bryan freaking Torres. The co-op squad also played a game on Tuesday, and won it. Torres got two hits (did not strike out), and Javier Castillo matched that hit total. One of Castillo's was a double. Luis Avilia went hitless but walked 3 times. Even though he didn't have a PA in Tuesday's game I should mention that Torres' backup, Ismael Rosado, is hitting .350/.418/.417 himself. As for the pitching, there was none, unless you're willing to count Indians pitchers. Which I'm not. DSL Brewers Co-op Game Log The winning inning: DSL Indians/Brewers Bottom of the 7th Luis Avila walks. Makesiondon Kelkboom out on a sacrifice bunt, pitcher Ender Cespedes to first baseman Robert Valera. Luis Avila to 2nd. Bryan Torres singles on a line drive to left fielder Johampher Arrendoll. Luis Avila to 3rd. Offensive Substitution: Pinch-runner Elian Gonzalez replaces Bryan Torres. Pablo Jimenez walks. Elian Gonzalez to 2nd. Pitching Change: Rodolfo Sanchez replaces Ender Cespedes. Julio Cabrera doubles (2) on a line drive to right fielder Diego Infante. Luis Avila scores. Elian Gonzalez scores. Pablo Jimenez to 3rd. Rafael Brito singles on a line drive to left fielder Johampher Arrendoll. Pablo Jimenez scores. Julio Cabrera scores. Javier Castillo singles on a line drive to right fielder Diego Infante. Rafael Brito scores. Javier Castillo to 3rd. Throwing error by right fielder Diego Infante. Derian Perez pops out to shortstop Abiezel Ramirez. Bryan Dimas grounds out, shortstop Abiezel Ramirez to first baseman Robert Valera.
  14. AZL Dodgers 6, AZL Brewers 0 AZL Brewers Boxscore Another day, another surprise promotion from the DSL, another loss. As I said above, 17 year old bonus baby Jean Carmona was promoted stateside after a successful DSL campaign and started at shortstop for the AZL club. He did not experience the success that Ernesto Martinez did the day before, however, as he was hitless (and walkless and strikeout-less) in four plate appearances. Small bit of good news - Carmona had 18 errors (.919 FPCT) in the DSL and played clean defense in this game, albeit on all of three chances. Carmona slashed .302/.406/.447 for the main DSL squad. In addition to the excellent OBP, his ISO of .145 was about 1.7 times DSL league average. So the 6'1, 183 pound switch hitter has some thump. The concept of a 17 year old Latin American signee playing in the AZL for the Brewers is somewhat novel, and encouraging. Then again, the same was said about Gilbert Lara. I'll keep an eye out on the DSL box score today to see if any other position player is suspiciously missing. Ernesto Martinez followed up his monster stateside game one with an 0-4 of his own on Wednesday, striking out once. Julian Jarrard (get this guy out of Arizona) had another two base knocks, and Julio Mendez notched a double. Wilfred Salaman got tagged for 5 runs over his 4 1/3. 11th rounder Max Lazar allowed a run in two innings of work, striking out 3. Lazar has yet to walk anyone through 9 1/3 pro innings. Mike Gonzalez had his second encouraging outing in a row, though his ERA and WHIP are still eye-averting, and will be pretty much no matter what he accomplishes for the remainder of the season. It is an important reminder that at this level, there is a need to parse stats a little more than normal. If Gonzalez pitches another 10 scoreless innings, his ERA is going to still be 8.62, but there was also clearly progress made. AZL Brewers Game Log As close as the Brewers got to scoring: AZL Brewers Bottom of the 3rd Leugim Castillo grounds out, shortstop Erisbel Arruebarrena to first baseman Eric Meza. Julio Mendez doubles (9) on a line drive to left fielder Shakir Albert. Yeison Coca singles on a ground ball to right fielder Felix Osorio. Julio Mendez to 3rd. Jean Carmona reaches on a fielder's choice out, first baseman Eric Meza to catcher Alvaro Rubi. Julio Mendez out at home. Yeison Coca to 2nd. Ernesto Wilson Martinez strikes out swinging.
  15. A day after Ernesto Martinez debuted for the AZL Brewers, Jean Carmona is debuting for the AZL Brewers tonight.
  16. Just a reminder, today's regular DSL game was played a few weeks ago, so just the co-op team was in action. Recap up later.
  17. Don't forget that dangerous shampoo bottle. My guess is that he was attempting to adapt a core strengthening crossfit exercise to his hotel room, and was ripping up phone books.
  18. DSL Cubs1 11, DSL Brewers Co-op 0 AZL Brewers Co-op Boxscore Brewers' hitters accounted for 4 of the team's 6 hits. But it's tough to win a game with 6 hits and no walks when you give up 11 runs, and the co-op team had another game to forget. Six of the eleven runs were given up by Wilmy De Jesus, though only four were earned. AZL Brewers Co-op Game Log Nothing to see here.
  19. DSL Phillies White 2, DSL Brewers 1 AZL Brewers Boxscore The good news is that Pablo Abreu got three hits, including two doubles. The bad news is that the rest of the team had one hit, a Luis Valdez double. It's tough to score runs when only one guy is getting hits, and the Brewers' DSL main squad falls despite solid pitching from Brayan Salaya and Wilber Perez. Salaya pitched a career-best 7 innings, and limited the damage despite allowing 11 hits. The 17 year-old Salaya has had control issues, but appeared more willing to pitch to contact in Tuesday's game and walked only one batter. AZL Brewers Game Log The best chance to get back into it was short-circuited by Ks: DSL Brewers Top of the 8th Pitching Change: Carlos Salazar replaces Leonel Aponte. Luis Valdez doubles (4) on a line drive to center fielder Julio Francisco. Offensive Substitution: Pinch-runner Anderson Melendez replaces Luis Valdez. Joel Munoz flies out to right fielder Yerwin Trejo. Anderson Melendez to 3rd. Luis Manon reaches on a throwing error by third baseman Victor Alfonso. Anderson Melendez scores. Luis Manon to 2nd. Bryan Connell strikes out swinging, catcher Freddy Barreto to first baseman Carlos Oropeza. Jean Cruz strikes out swinging.
  20. AZL Giants 4, AZL Brewers 3 AZL Brewers Boxscore As I mentioned above, the big news here was that Ernesto Martinez Jr. made his surprise stateside debut. He had a perfect day, going 2-2 with a double, and walked twice as well. Unfortunately the rest of the lineup only managed four singles and two walks. Justin Bullock pitched a career-high 3 innings, allowing a run on 4 hits, and he struck out 5. While Austin Rubick only allowed a run over 2 2/3 innings, it was unfortunately the run that won the game for the Giants. AZL Brewers Game Log EMJ starts off with a bang: AZL Brewers Top of the 2nd Julian Jarrard walks. Ernesto Wilson Martinez doubles (1) on a fly ball to right fielder Diego Rincones. Julian Jarrard to 3rd. Robie Rojas grounds out, second baseman Robert Antunez to first baseman Nathanael Javier. Julian Jarrard scores. Ernesto Wilson Martinez to 3rd. Je'Von Ward grounds out, second baseman Robert Antunez to first baseman Nathanael Javier. Ernesto Wilson Martinez scores. Leugim Castillo grounds out, second baseman Robert Antunez to first baseman Nathanael Javier.
  21. Ernesto Martinez Jr. in the AZL lineup tonight.
  22. AZL Dodgers 4, AZL Brewers 2 AZL Brewers Boxscore A quiet day for the Brewers' offense. Julio Mendez once again lead the way, this time with two hits including a triple. Julian Jarrard got two singles, as well as the opportunity to play against his brother. Adrian Houser pitched well - you can watch the whole outing here - in his 5th rehab appearance. He's still limited to about 45 pitches. Jon Olczak made his second rehab appearance, and Christian Taugner pitched 4 really nice innings. AZL Brewers Game Log Yes, that Ike Davis: AZL Brewers Bottom of the 3rd Pitching Change: Ike Davis replaces James Marinan. Leugim Castillo strikes out swinging. Julio Mendez singles on a ground ball to left fielder Kevin Aponte. Yeison Coca lines out, pitcher Ike Davis to first baseman Eric Meza. Julio Mendez to 2nd. Jesus Lujano walks. With Pat McInerney batting, wild pitch by Ike Davis, Julio Mendez to 3rd. Jesus Lujano to 2nd. Pat McInerney walks. Pitching Change: Santos Mateo replaces Ike Davis. With Julian Jarrard batting, Jair Camargo picks off Pat McInerney at 1st on throw to Eric Meza.
  23. AZL Brewers 9, AZL Athletics 8 (10 innings) AZL Brewers Boxscore I fell asleep with the score 8-1 heading into the ninth, and assumed this one would be an easy victory for the good guys - nothing is easy in the AZL. Jake Smith had a forgettable outing trying to close out the game in the ninth, and Landon Holifield allowed the tying run to score in that same frame. The Brewers were able to win it in the 10th inning after scoring a run and seeing Holifield work out of a bases loaded, no out jam in the bottom half of the inning to keep the A's off of the board and out of the win column. Julio Mendez got three hits for the Brewers, and had the team's only extra base hit as well, a double. Julian Jarrard and Je'Von Ward each had two singles. Jesus Lujano stole his league-leading 23rd and 24th bases on the season. Phil Bickford made his 3rd rehab start, as noted a few posts above. Branden Nunn and Chase Williams both pitched well in relief. AZL Brewers Game Log Houdini: AZL Athletics Bottom of the 10th Nick Allen starts inning at 2nd base. Ben Spitznagel singles on a bunt ground ball to pitcher Landon Holifield. Nick Allen to 3rd. Lazaro Armenteros walks. Ben Spitznagel to 2nd. Jake Lumley grounds into a force out, shortstop Yeison Coca to catcher Moises Perez. Nick Allen out at home. Ben Spitznagel to 3rd. Lazaro Armenteros to 2nd. Jake Lumley to 1st. Austin Beck called out on strikes. AZL Athletics center fielder Austin Beck ejected by HP umpire Bobby Tassone. Alonzo Medina strikes out swinging.
  24. Bickford wasn't throwing with full effort, which I believe is what Kusiolek meant with the "lower band" part of the tweet. There would be scouting alarm bells going off if Bickford was airing it out and only hitting 85-87.
  25. AZL Brewers 7, AZL Giants 5 AZL Brewers Boxscore Jon Olczak and Mitch Ghelfi began rehab stints with the Baby Brewers and the pitching staff just held onto the lead late for a win. Karlos Morales had a second straight scoreless outing to begin his big league career, while Brendan Murphy/Mike Gonzalez had encouraging outings after enduring mostly rough 2017 campaigns. Jesus Lujano lead the way on offense with 3 hits, including his 1st career home run (after 400+ PAs). Ghelfi homered as well. Julian Jarrard and Je'Von Ward each had two hits - one of Jarrard's was yet another double, which gives him 16 in just over 100 career PAs. Pat McInerney, Rob Henry, and Yeison Coca each smacked a double as well. AZL Brewers Game Log
