  1. So rogers just had a blister, good. I got nervous when I saw the 1.1 inning, too. Any word why Braun is out? Is he just getting a rest, or is it another reason?
  2. One of the most exciting series the Brewers have had in a long time. Regardless of the outcome. Only thing that would make it better would be a complete game tomorrow from Sheets. We need him to go at least 7 strong.
  3. Man, the more I rip Jenkins, the more he hits. I'm afraid if I quit, he'll stop hitting, so, I'd still trade him...I guess
  4. And since I said He was cooling off, he is 10-35, now with today he is 11-37, or .297. He hasn't gone ice cold as I had pre3dicted, but he is no world beater either. Jenkins is the one subject that I will always be negative on. Sorry all the Pro Jenkins people, I can't be convinced I am not always negative, I do believe I'm the only person who likes santana, and I always speak highly of the kids, and Capuano, Sheets, Davis, Lee, and a couple of others. I've been one of the biggest Turnbow backers recently, and have never said anything bad about Wise. Just Jenkins, I'll try to keep quiet on him as to not offend, but some times, I just can't help it.
  5. That's where I am and will remain negative. I would still trade Jenkins in a second.
  6. Not usually, There are a few players i would have liked to see moved, and I've seen this club lose a few too many games. i would say I'm pessimistic, not negative. It's a small difference, but an important one
  7. Don't get down on the Brewers yet, they still have a few innings to figure out how to give this one back...
  8. 3 runs on one hit, haven't we done something like this before? Wasn't it similar on Overbay's grand slam?
  9. Man, I fell asleep in the second, apparently, I missed nothing. No trades, no runs, nothing. Granted, Capuano appears to be pitching a gem, but man, what a boring day so far.
  10. It appears that this may be the most boring trade deadline in the history of baseball. It appears that this may be just like any other 4:00 eastern time on a Sunday, other than I will be closely following the internet, and ESPN hoping to see someone do something.
  11. So I just lost 2 1/2 hours of my life that I'll never get back. I'm un-selling out. I'm going back to wanting to trade everybody. Maybe if we trade our entire team for soft tossing lefties and sinkerballing righties, and we make sure every team gets at least one of our guys or a prospect. That way we'll get some free outs in every game we play.
  12. The Arizona Diamonbacks, the team that keeps on giving, Overbay, Capuano, JDLR, last nights game, and it appears they want us to have this one, too
  13. Never saw that coming? How's that "We should sweep them" talk looking now? Rluz, that's another time a remark seems to be directed at me with false info. If you were not targeting me, I'm sorry. If you were, I never once said that we were going to sweep them. A quote from one of my previous posts before the series is, "I think that winning 2-3 against a team like the Reds seems like a reasonable request." I have been patient, and will remain patient. I have posted topics that were sure to draw ire from some people as to instigate discussions. I just hope that people don't continue to misquote me in their tirades against things I say.
  14. I guess I can't say that I didn't see that coming
  15. So Davis hit 90, and Santana is in the high 80's? Is this bizarro world?
  16. I guess we needed to save Helms for the 12th
  17. As much as i like to pick on the rooter, that was ball 4
  18. cmon, the rooter, pay for your roster spot with a Doug Davis win
  19. I wasn't doing anything today, anyway, might as well go extra frames
  20. Gets out of it. If we don't score here, is Yost stubborn enough to leave him in for the ninth? I hope not
  21. DD hit 90 on the gun!!! If he gets up to 160 pitches, does he throw 94?
  22. There it is, if Yost hadn't left his starter in for one batter too many 20 times...And now it may be two too many
  23. exhibit B in the case of Jenkins Hot vs. Jenkins Cold... 2 singles in his last 12 AB's. Hope Lee and Lyle can pick it up
