    Pizza

Has anyone had the DiGiorno Croissant crust pizza? How is it?

    Pizza

On the frozen pizza side, I’m a big fan of Bellatora. The sauce tends to be a little zesty, which is something I like. My go to cheap frozen pizza is Jacks, but they have some serious quality issues. I have to examine the pizza in grocery stores to see if it’ll be a good one or not. In terms of Pizza restaurants, I’m still sad Fratellis in West Allis closed. They made a great pizza. Also a big fan of Classic Slice in Bay View, and Papa Luigis in Cudahy.
  4. I would think it would be a great thing to bring notes because it shows the employer that you did your homework/research.
  5. I ordered business cards (since I should have some and it took me 9 months to realize). Also, a company that I applied for in California called me about a job. I was stupid and said "I dont really want to live in San Francisco." That was monday. I may call them up on Monday and tell them that I actually want to live in SF.
  6. It is definitely easier to find a job when you have one, because it doesn't raise questions about why you don't already have one. I found two networking events in my field that appeared in my Facebook news feed. I'll probobly attend them and try to drag my friend along to feel less uncomfortable.
  7. I'm not a sales guy but could I move? Absolutely.
  8. Bus route or where I can get to easy (train to Chicago, bus to Madison, etc).
  9. There's not enough jobs in my field with my experience to where I can apply to say 6-10 jobs a week. I look mainly in the Milwaukee area, Madison, and Chicago. I've done the odd applying to two companies located in the San Francisco area but only because they are two companies that I have a deep passion for. There's one thing that I'm not happy about my resume and that is it still has an objective. I'd love to nuke it but I don't have anything to replace it with.
  10. Never heard of Americorps. I'll look into it. I don't know anyone that works in HR. I did meet a former professor who also works at an ad agency and he said my resume should be able to land a job and was shocked I only had 2-3 interviews.
  11. I've been trying to get into public relations or account services (the people that do the research and talk to clients) at an agency. I lack graphic design experience. I can create basic things in photoshop but that's about it. I do have a portfolio of my work though.
  12. After researching financial aid, I think an MBA is out of the question. I assumed I could get grants and get it paid for under income circumstances like my undergrad. Guess graduate school is a different ballgame. My friend (who is in a similar boat as me) is blaming the economy for unemployment. I was able to buy that argument 3-4 years ago but not anymore. I've been applying to roughly 2 jobs a week. I'm thinking about playing the desperation card in cover letters and saying something like "I know I can succeed if given a chance. Can you give me that chance?" The lack of experience is killing me. I have 1 internship under my belt. Even internships at companies want more experience than I have. I'm on LinkedIn but I don't really network. I attended two networking events in my life. I'm not even sure how to network at this point.
  13. Unfortunately it would have to be some place in the Milwaukee area because I dont have a drivers license, nor can I afford to drive even if I had one. I've thought about going to grad school for an MBA or even getting a second bachelor's but I fear that won't help me with the whole job thing.
  14. Are there any advertising pros here? I graduated in may in ad/pr and can't land an internship, much less a job if my life depended on it.
