    I'm impressed we've gone until January without meaningful snow fall.

    I have a seasonal job at Target and I'm pretty sure Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett came in. Sure looked like him, was tall, and seemed older. He looked disappointed when we didn't have what he was looking for.

    The guy has a statue and is getting a number retired in his name. I think that should be the end of honoring Bud Selig.

    Alvarez said he will coach the team in the Outback Bowl. Why don't coaches give the programs more notice about potential departures? Is it wrong to inform the program "Hey, I'm interviewing for this job at Oregon State." It feels like in the NFL you don't see a coach leave without notice unless it's something scandalous.

    I passed my road test. I'm only 9 years late but oh well. Super excited.

    That's funny because the models have shifted north so Milwaukee is going to get almost all rain from this. Good.

    My friend didn't even get tested on it because there were no cars to test it with. I should figure out the times of day there will be no cars on the road to take the test.

    Learning how to drive, and had to finally deal with parallel parking. Read tons of guides on it and for some reason I was expecting to be a pro at it my first time. Couldn't be more wrong. Most of my attempts resulted in me being too far from the curb because I didn't get close enough to the car next me because I have awful awareness of the dimensions of the car, even after 12-14 hours of driving. I was able to do it flawlessly a few times but even then there was no car behind me, so it wasn't normal parallel parking. I typically enjoy driving but that was just stressful.

    The video service is extremely useful if you like HBO shows (depending on how much HBO GO standalone costs, this may be irrelevant in the future) since they are the only place to get them without a cable subscription.

    I don't ever see a day where you can watch home in-market games online (at least not without a cable subscription). No pro sports league lets you. I do think being able to buy individual games to watch ala carte from MLB.tv would be a cool idea though.

    The NL has literally turned into the AL of years past. Same old teams in the world series every year.

    I assume that you are kidding. Otherwise, a couple of cold and rainy days at the beginning of October and ready to assume that all Winter will be cold and wet?? Was half kidding since owbc said this winter is setting up to be like the last one.

    They need to ban checks from grocery stores. It's aggravating sitting in a checkout, only to see a lady open up her checkbook. Non-related note, I've begun trying to get my driver's license. Going well. Just a few kinks to work out then I think I'm good for the road test.

    Really wish last night's game was OTA. I don't have cable. Going to miss half the playoffs because of the cable thing.
