The first game I watch (no cable) and they lose.

I don't have an iMac but I think screen size comes down to if you want the higher resolution. The 21" is 1920x1080 (native HD) which is more than acceptable unless you're doing tons of things at once.

Looks like more snow is coming...

The sound of pouring water woke me up at 3 am. I walk in the bathroom and see a water valve broke and is pouring water into a bucket. The valve was closed so it broke and I was unsure what to do. I had to call 911 hoping they (the city) could shut off the water on their end since I can't access the main valve to shut off water in the house. Fire department came and connected the washing machine (we don't use it anymore) hose to the valve as a stop gap measure. Can only hope the valve/hose in the washing machine doesnt break between now and Monday or I'm in for a world of hurt. I get to call a plumber now, ugh.

I don't know much about college basketball and the rankings but when/how is Wisconsin going to move up? They've been the 4th seed for like a month now?

When I woke up at 4 this morning, the windchill -46, it has appeared to "warm" up since then as the windchill is "only" -37 now.

MPS is closing Monday because of the cold and Scott Walker is thinking about closing all schools for the day.

How Tim Allen's Santa Claus isnt here is beyond me, that and Elf are my favorite christmas movies. Oh and a charlie brown Christmas but that isn't really much of a movie.

The current path of the storm I guess has us for heavy snow on Sunday, so probably 6+ inches.

People are opposed to a new arena because we aren't finished paying for the one we just built. There is also the usual opposition of paying for a millionaire to make more money. Also the Bucks haven't been playoff contenders in over 10 years and people don't want to build new stadiums for bad teams.

Herb Kohl today basically announced he wants to sell part of the team.

Last Winter was your typical winter but without a huge snow storm. Hopefully we don't get one again this year. These past 2 months have been unseasonably cool. At least we return to high 20's this weekend.

I'm not sure I approve of replacing a stadium that is only 20 years old but if I am the Braves, who am I to say no. -
