Sadly, Hamilton’s bunting is our best offensive production at 3B. Ortiz’s glove however, rivals Turang, so he needs to be playing at end of games.

Betting on Freddy as a #1 and Priester #2 in 2026 was the mistake. Only Miz and Uribe delivered in NLCS. Adding a true ace and closer is the priority. They could use another bat, but the return of Mitchell might suffice.

With 2027 season at risk w new CBA, rentals look better. Mason Miller has 3 years before FA, so he’s obviously an exception.

With a lockout looming in 27, why would Brewers trade for anything more than a 3-month rental?

I’m a Yelich fan. However, he looks off and the stats back it up. Ailing back, maybe. Some IL rest will do him good. Vaughn rolls into DH. Maybe a Williams call up? A couple options to make room on 40: 1. Tyler Black. With no path to majors, it may be time to give a fresh start. 2. Josh Kuhnel injury settlement and release (if doable)

As Murphy says, Mitchell has the most baseball talent on this team. He’s a combo of Mike Trout and Kyle Schwarber with more speed. Yesterday marked his first full year in majors, adjusting for fluke injuries. As he gets more experience, expect the strikeout rate to decline.

Would like to see Brewers add some veteran depth ala Moose in 2018. Someone who has won before and knows what it takes. Not saying Justin Turner, but someone like that. Also, spend on a reliable closer. Both McGill and Uribe have shown promise, but they have also been inconsistent. Contreras 🔥

Last year Contreras roughed it out w a broken hand, and his stats reflect that. This year his hitting seems to be more situational, and to all fields. Power is there though. He is the best catcher in baseball and in 1.5 years is going to get paid. Enjoy him while he’s here.

Cut the guy some slack. He’s trying to stay on the field. Even with injuries, Garrett still has MVP upside. He needs to stay on the field. Quick look back at 2020 draft: 19: PCA 20: Mitchell 21: Jordan Walker 22: Crochet 23: Bryce Jarvis Could argue Crochet was a better pick, but PCA or Walker? 😕
