  1. Would like to see Brewers add some veteran depth ala Moose in 2018. Someone who has won before and knows what it takes. Not saying Justin Turner, but someone like that. Also, spend on a reliable closer. Both McGill and Uribe have shown promise, but they have also been inconsistent. Contreras 🔥
  2. Last year Contreras roughed it out w a broken hand, and his stats reflect that. This year his hitting seems to be more situational, and to all fields. Power is there though. He is the best catcher in baseball and in 1.5 years is going to get paid. Enjoy him while he’s here.
  3. Cut the guy some slack. He’s trying to stay on the field. Even with injuries, Garrett still has MVP upside. He needs to stay on the field. Quick look back at 2020 draft: 19: PCA 20: Mitchell 21: Jordan Walker 22: Crochet 23: Bryce Jarvis Could argue Crochet was a better pick, but PCA or Walker? 😕
  4. Cut Mitchell slack, he hasn’t played a full season yet. He is a 5-tool talent who might have been the #1 overall pick if it wasn’t for his Type 1 diabetes. PCA was #19 and he’s plateaued. Garrett had two fluky injuries (labrum, wrist), which robbed him of 3 seasons. If he stays healthy this year, 2027 he’s an all-star
  5. Jim Bowden predicts his lack of control destines Miz to the bullpen. 🤷‍♂️
  6. Mitchell has had bad luck w fluke injuries. He was a top 5 player in 2020 draft, but his type 1 diabetes scared teams off. if he stays healthy he’ll be an all star this year. How bout dem apples!
  7. It’s Milwaukee’s airport code. Not an endorsement tho. Most of these are developed by Park Ave agencies who couldn’t ID a cheese curd in a police lineup.
  8. Crow’s stuff is electric. Curveball is 70. Starter, relief… just get him in front of MLB hitters.
  9. Brewers continue to play chess. Essentially flipping Devin Williams for two plus lefty starters w five years of control. 🔥 Hader for Contreras and Gasser. 🔥 Only Burnes for DL Hall and Ortiz looks suspect, but w Burnes and Hall on IL, judgement is still TBD. 💪
  10. Patrick will crack rotation. Crow at some point too. Harrison and Sproat may start in minors, but they are key to 2027 and beyond. Still see Brew Crew signing Jordan Montgomery for 2026.
  11. Expect only marginal improvements, maybe even regression for Turang. Hope says the 1B platoon should yield more HRs, and a healthy Mitchell will double dingers from CF. However, a more power-friendly approach at plate would also help, and excited to see what influence Vogey has on the power production.
  12. Gasser was electric in his 4 starts pre TJ. Injury a result of being overpitched in minors. Super competitive attitude, which you want. If he stay in rotation a real dark horse ROY candidate.
  13. Mitxhell’s body didn’t betray him. He jammed his shoulder sliding into a base and broke a finger during BP.. It could happen to anyone. Just bad luck. His Type 1 Diabetes, which is why he fell out of Top 5 in draft, has been a non issue. Yelich, on the other hand has had his back betray him. He’s still a good hitter w elite knowledge of strike zone, but he’ll never be what he was in 2018/2019.
