  1. Jim Bowden predicts his lack of control destines Miz to the bullpen. 🤷‍♂️
  2. Mitchell has had bad luck w fluke injuries. He was a top 5 player in 2020 draft, but his type 1 diabetes scared teams off. if he stays healthy he’ll be an all star this year. How bout dem apples!
  3. It’s Milwaukee’s airport code. Not an endorsement tho. Most of these are developed by Park Ave agencies who couldn’t ID a cheese curd in a police lineup.
  4. Crow’s stuff is electric. Curveball is 70. Starter, relief… just get him in front of MLB hitters.
  5. Brewers continue to play chess. Essentially flipping Devin Williams for two plus lefty starters w five years of control. 🔥 Hader for Contreras and Gasser. 🔥 Only Burnes for DL Hall and Ortiz looks suspect, but w Burnes and Hall on IL, judgement is still TBD. 💪
  6. Patrick will crack rotation. Crow at some point too. Harrison and Sproat may start in minors, but they are key to 2027 and beyond. Still see Brew Crew signing Jordan Montgomery for 2026.
  7. Expect only marginal improvements, maybe even regression for Turang. Hope says the 1B platoon should yield more HRs, and a healthy Mitchell will double dingers from CF. However, a more power-friendly approach at plate would also help, and excited to see what influence Vogey has on the power production.
  8. Gasser was electric in his 4 starts pre TJ. Injury a result of being overpitched in minors. Super competitive attitude, which you want. If he stay in rotation a real dark horse ROY candidate.
  9. Mitxhell’s body didn’t betray him. He jammed his shoulder sliding into a base and broke a finger during BP.. It could happen to anyone. Just bad luck. His Type 1 Diabetes, which is why he fell out of Top 5 in draft, has been a non issue. Yelich, on the other hand has had his back betray him. He’s still a good hitter w elite knowledge of strike zone, but he’ll never be what he was in 2018/2019.
  10. Mitchell was once the Brewers top hitting prospect and one of the top hitters in D1. “Garrett Mitchell does nothing but rake.” Nothing has changed except for 3 rando injuries that kept him off field. If he plays a full season (and there’s no reason to think he won’t), Garrett Mitchell will be an all-star for the Brewers.
  11. Contreras is the heart and soul of this team. I hope they don’t diss him in arb. Would love to see Brew Crew keep him the remaining two years, like Adames, and be okay w the comp pick. Brewers seem to trade pitchers before FA but not position players, so maybe their analytics say to keep William as long as they can.
  12. Jordan Montgomery will be signed to a prove-it deal. He won’t be ready by start of season, which gives younglings important mound time. However, second half, Montgomery will be delivering meaningful starts for Brew Crew.
  13. ABS/Robo ump favors small hitters. In 2027, getting a called strike on Jett Williams and Calib Durbin will be like hitting a carnival 3-pointer. #Eddie Gaedel
  14. Paid $20M for Grandal. $18M for Hoskins. $10M for Moose 2x. Brewers pay, they don’t like risk of long contracts. Will keep Peralta, $8M is cheap. Let’s see if they sign Jordan Montgomery to one-year prove it. That would be a hell of a top 3. Move Turang to SS, Durbin to 2B. Sign 3B w some power.
  15. Tommy Pham is a good add.
