  1. Hudson is starting to throw meatballs. Carlos is gonna drive in at least two.
  2. Not that Rickie checked his swing, but why can't they appeal to third anymore. Alot of close checked swings aren't even appealed anymore. Just something that drives me crazy.
  3. It's only 2-1 in the fifth. Get off the ledge guys.
  4. Cinci's top prospect (Encarnacion) will not be traded. He would cost us a starter and a decent prospect. Although a Santos/Krynzel deal wouldn't bother me. I know they would want more than that.
  5. Gonna have to bounce back. Dougie needs to settle in.
  6. Carlos is gonna tee off... He's staying back well.
  7. How many hits does Brady have? Don't worry, Sutton will tell you every time Brady gets to the plate.
  8. That's 19-18 against a bunch of playoff contenders. That part of the schedule scared me. Glad to see Hall get the day off. Not only has he been struggling offensively, but his defense has stunk lately.
  9. I feel a series win coming today. Seems like the team is playing with a confidence that they haven't had on the road in quite some time. Believe it or not, I think Rickie Weeks is the reason. No, not just because he's been playing well offensively, but because "the future" is here. There just seems to be a spring in everybody's step. Not just the players, but the coaches and the fans too. Does anybody else feel and "electricity" following the team since Rickie has been called up?
  10. There's quite a few pitchers that will get a shot before lil Ben these days.
  11. Two pretty solid lineups. Guessing that Overbay won't be platooned for a while. Showcasing? I hope so.
  12. 8-6 Brewers with a Jenkins shot in the 8th to win it.
  13. Still trying to figure out why the rooter is even on the roster.
  14. This game is far from a lock, but there is nothing like a Brewer win and a Cub loss in the same day. Kinda puts a spring in my step for a while.
  15. This has Wise, Santana, and Turnbow written all over it. Maybe a JDLR sighting, after Edmonds or Walker pinch hits.
  16. With the lead I don't think Lehr gets used. Unless it's a blowout.
  17. JJ's OPS is over .900 this month. So bunt him. Smart.
  18. The only thing JJ did wrong was not trying to hit the ball to the right side. You can still fail and move the runners. That is why you let him hit. He doesn't strikeout much, so you let him swing away to move the runners. He just might get a hit. You can still bunt your pitcher after that.
  19. Looks like were not going to get through to you. Subject dropped.
  20. Hindsight is 20/20. JJ is like 10 for his last 20. You don't bunt him there. You think we should play for one run against St Louis? Maybe in the ninth inning with a tie score. That's about the only time you take the bat out of your 8 hole hitter.
  21. For the last time: Why would you take the bat out of your shortstop's hand and let your pitcher hit away? Sure, let Sheets hit in that situation. Dumb dumb dumb.
  22. No. Wrong. You ket your hot hitter hit and bunt your pitcher. Why take the bat out of your shortstop's hand and let your pitcher drive the runs in? What a joke. The Brewers (in general) have to teach their pitchers to bunt. They all stink at it.
