    Ben is hilarious. When this team starts contending the rest of the country will find out how funny he is. Would love to be a fly on the wall when Uecker and Sheets are talking hitting.

    Nice job Lyle. Get hot. If Overbay and Jenkins start carrying this team, Carlos is going to get a ton of fastballs.

    One player has improved since Wynegar has been our hitting coach. Bill Hall. Everybody slse has either gotten worse or is about the same. He's ruined Jenkins. Jenkins is hiting like Wynegar did. And he stunk.

    Shaking my head too much lately. This is what I mean: 1. JJ Hardy needs the AAA seasoning. Let Hall and a Branyan/Helms platoon go for a while. 2. Julio Santana wasn't good enough to make our Opening Day roster. Now, he's the guy who gets pressure innings. 3. Tommy Phelps can't hold JDLR's jockstrap. If we are playing our youngsters, why isn't Jorge pitching at all? 4. All of this bullpen trouble. And where is Adams? 5. How long before Weeks is hitting third? Imagine the number of fastballs he would get batting in front of Carlos? Just a few things that go through my mind.

    I agree with the "nights off" idea. Defense hasn't been their strong suit lately. So, why make the infield make two plays then? And I do understand the force at home. Just shaking my head too often lately.

    Question guys: Why do you walk intentionally walk the guy to load the bases when you are going to play short and second in? Another reason why I hate Ned. You play those guys a DP depth!!! You need to get out of that inning. The game goes another inning if Ned plays things the right way.

    Davis has the wins and that's it. His ERA is way too high. Actually, Santos and Cappy have been more dependable this year.

    Ned is to blame for the loss tonight. He managed us out of the game tonight.

    The problem I have with Ned in that situation, is that that is the VERY reason Prince is on the bench. Need an XBH to tie the game? Bring in Durrington. Stupidity is contagious. Get Ned away from the young players.

    Your catcher is supposed to be a smart player, head in the game all the time. Miller needs to realize that his run means nothing to the Cubs, his butt needs to be about 10 feet awat from the base.

    That's Dusty though. He does just the opposite of what everybody thinks. He's pulled Zambrano early twice this season already. *Not a Cub fan. Just a baseball junkie. Boy is my girlfriend proud.

    I'm just waiting for Z to explode. One bad call is all it takes. That or Dusty will pull him after 7. Then Z will explode.

    Baker is a moron. He may be a motivator, but he's terrible when it comes to lineups and x's and o's. He should be a bench coach for somebody. Rothschild would be a better manager.

    Daron's calling strikes against our own players. I think he want's the Cub job next year. My idea: Do you guys think that when WGN doesn't carry the game, that Sutton and Schroeder are told to be more neutral? Seems that way to me. I certainly hope they aren't doing that.
